ご祭神は、伊弉諾命、伊弉冊命、大日霎命、月読命、素盞鳴命、蛭子命で、式内社で、旧県社とのことです。式内社である伊和都比売神社の論社はここ以外に２社（稲爪神社、伊弉册神社）あります。淡路島の石屋神社より神を勧請して創祀されたとのことです。ご祭神に蛭子命が入っており、明石岩屋えびすとも呼ばれています。えびす信仰が人気なのか、正面には恵比寿様の石像があり、本殿裏にも恵比寿様のための小鳥居があります。また、人気NO1の卵焼き屋であるふなまちの近くです。

大きな神社でとても立派なお社でした。
春の陽気で気持ちのいい天気に参拝ができました。魚の棚商店街から歩いて10分ぐらいでした。

10月下旬の土曜日に訪れました。いつも行列の人気店ふなまちのすぐ側にあります。広い境内ですが他に参拝者はいませんでした。歴史のある神社で淡路島の岩屋から祭神を勧請したということで、それにちなんだ「おしゃたか祭」が毎年７月に行われているそうです。

雨の日に通りかかりました。人はいませんでした。
淡路島の大元と両方参拝をお勧めします。
明石城の産土神、例年藩主自らが参拝する神社だったらしいです。
大元は淡路島の岩屋神社で、そこから神様を呼んだだと言われています。

玉子焼きのふなまち入店待ち時間に、私の前の待ち家族に小さな女の子がいて、何度か「神社へ行く」と行って居なくなる事があり気になりました。食事後店を出て少し歩いただけでバス停を発見。すぐ岩屋神社がありました。由緒ありそうな所だと思いながら、とりあえず無事に旅が出来ている事を報告がてらお参りしました。
帰宅して調べてから、光源氏月見の松の事を知りました。源氏物語は好きなので、もっとちゃんと見てくれば良かったと後悔しました。

明石では有名な神社だそうで、夏には明石市指定無形民俗文化財にしていされた「おしゃたか舟神事」が行われるそうです。

明石港の近くにある神社。入口には大きな鯛を抱えた恵比寿さんの石像があります。境内には古い常夜燈がいくつもあり、歴史を感じさせます。光源氏月見の松も境内にあります。

明石駅からぶらぶら歩いて 10分くらいで到着します、到着するまでにはとても美味しい昔からある明石焼き🐙のお店がありますよ、いつもたくさん並んでられます‼️
神社には 光源氏月見の松と言われる立派な松があり パワーを感じさせてくれます✨
神社の正面をまっすぐ進むと海に出ます、淡路島、明石海峡大橋が望めて 素晴らしい景色が広がっています

人気の明石焼き（玉子焼き）屋さんからすぐの場所。参道から淡路島や漁港が見えて非常に風情がある神社です。敷地の裏にも別社があるなど、歴史がほのみえます。また、社務所の方も親切で、厄除けなども随時対応してくれます。また、海上で行われることで全国的に有名なおしゃたか祭もここからはじまります。このお祭りは明石市無形民俗文化財に指定されています。

明石駅からだと徒歩で10分程かかりました。境内に入ると正面に大きな拝殿が立っていました。実際には、右手にある近代建築の社務所が大きく境内の一角を占めていました。猶、境内手前には、明石市指定文化財の看板が立てられていました。
