Memories Day
Feb 2020 • Couples
My wife and I enjoyed our day at Queens Hall for this event organised by Lara Herde.
It was lovely to meet up with Malcolm Cawley who produced a feature for local radio as BB Skone!

Not impressed
Jan 2019 • Friends
Very disappointed with this place. Seems a bit chaotic, staff uninterested, tables left uncleared, generally grubby. Coffee mediocre. Will not be returning.

Hi m0untain. Thanks for your review. I'm sorry you had an unpleaseant experience. We assume from your feedback that you visited the cafe that's on the premises?. They are a seperate business to the hall but we will pass on your feedback to the owner of Cafe owner. We hope you'd return in future. The Queens Hall itself is a charity and we work hard to try and provide the best we can for the community with a small but dedicated band of volunteers.

Dissapointing
Sep 2017 • Family
Dirty toiets, dirty sticky floor, ignorant staff who were unhelpful when asked for toilet paper on top of that the bar staff on phones talking while I waited to inconvenience them in order to buy a drink! never going again no matter what's on!

Hi Danerys3 Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I'm awfully sorry about the condition of the toilets that you faced on your visit to the Queens Hall. We have also passed on your comments regarding bar staff to the bar company and discussed these issues at trustee meetings. We've also brought in new cleaning rotas for the toilets to ensure better cleaning practices.

Another let down!
Nov 2017 • Friends
Having been coming for a number of years now, up until the last year, things have been wonderful. Obviously, the performing acts have been superb and so was management. But recently, the new management appears to be a lot less organised and/or interested in customer service and satisfaction.
Last year, we arranged to have a table and chairs due to one of us having a disability. Got there and the table and chairs were not set up - and we appeared to "harrass" the staff in charge who made us feel like we were a nuisance. We were told to find our own table and chairs. This year, on attempting to email (3 times now) and 2 phone calls (ignored), to ask if we can have a table and chairs - totally ignored! Not one acknowledgement of our attempts to make these arrangements and to book tickets for the show we want to see.
It is such a shame that a venue that has been successful and vibrant for so many years is suddently being ruined by staff who are obviously *just not interested*. Shame on them!

Hi Sistermoon1963 I'm sorry about your poor experience at the Queens Hall with regards your table and chair requests. We do always strive to ensure that messages from the office are passed onto the volunteers working events and I'm sorry this didn't happen on this occasion. We have since improved our lines of communication to events and have new office staff. I hope that if you return in future, we can ensure you have another enjoyable visit as you have done in the past.

The Unknown Soldier - Ross Ericson
Nov 2017 • Couples
What a performance. If you ever get the chance to see this one man performance please do. Just an hour long, but such a well written story of the experiences of the soldiers fighting in the trenches and the nightmares the survivors were left with.

The Queens Hall ( run by extremely enthusiastic volunteers) is eally easy to get to in the lovely town of Narberth. Convenient to the large car park, lots of lovely individual shops, good choice of where to eat

What the Floyd gig
Nov 2017 • Couples
We visited on Saturday for a what the Floyd- music of pink Floyd concert. Great night. Doors opened on time. Slightly hectic bar at times- to be expected when that many people want a drink at once, friendly bubbly staff made up for it. The band and the light show were brilliant. Good central location and easy to find. Can't wait for whole lotto led in a few weeks.

a great night with an iconic star
May 2017 • Couples
well last night i had the privilege to see one of Britain's most iconic songwriters of recent generations. Live on stage playing acoustic renditions of some iconic 80's music was Hugh Cornwell one of the founder members of the iconic band The Stranglers. His sets included up to date tracks from his new album as well as some of his best known hits. The atmosphere was superb the staff were great the whole experience was worth the 100 mile trip we made well done to Narbeth Queens Hall how they managed to get such a star to appear at a little Welsh town was fantastic thank you and well done. I see Paul Potts is appearing in November so will be booking tickets soon hoping for another great night!

Hi Mapendicott. Thanks so much for the review. We're really pleased you enjoyed your night with Hugh - he certainly had great things to say about the crowd after his event when he was speaking to us. Just to note: Paul Potts isn't at the Queens Hall, this was on our community board as it's being put on by the local Rotary club of Narberth in a few weeks at a venue down the road. Thanks again and hopefully we will see you soon at another event.

Morning Coffee
Mar 2017 • Friends
We called in here for a quick coffee . I was delighted to see that it was such an interesting place , really retro , clean and mostly untouched . Our coffee was served by a pleasant young lady who apologised for the very slight delay because they were so busy . This confirmed our observations . If they were busy, it shows that they are popular because there are plenty of coffee shops etc to choose from in Narberth.

Hi BreRid, Glad you had a great experience at the Cafe. I'll make sure your views are passed on to the tennants who lease the cafe from us. They'll be thrilled with your kind words!. We're always working as a board of trustees to update the building but as I'm sure you can appreciate, the size of the building takes a lot of time and money to revamp so I'm glad our recent efforts are noticed and appreciated.
