We visited The Creative Cafe in Narberth during our week holiday in Carmarthen. A lovely place to sit and relax for an hour or more. Our lad chose a turtle to paint which was £15 for the item and paints and glaze etc, which I think is reasonable. Sadly we had to return before the turtle was ready, so David posted it out to us. We were amazed when we opened the box, fantastic colours and all in one piece.

Throughly recommend a visit to this place and we will be back the next time we visit.

We spent 2.5 hours here and I cannot recommend it enough! The girls working there were so lush and super helpful! We even brought the dog along and they got him some water, which we were so grateful for! We had lovely, cheap drinks. The location is fabulous and the tent was perfect for COVID times! This small business is amazing and is so perfect for all ages! A fabulous place for a family day out. A great activity for the kids and adults. It was so relaxing with lovely music in the background. All I can say is go, you won’t regret it!xxx

Having completed comparable activities in Margate, Canterbury and during a Forest Holiday vacation we thought we knew what to expect. The attraction was clean, tidy organised and the staff helpful. One of the first things she told us was a charge of £5 per painter would be applied to cover paint, firing etc. We looked at the cost of the items on the shelf expecting them to be lower than they where. An egg cup cost £9 to pay plus £5 to paint so as a family today that would have cost is £70 before coffee cake and sandwiches. This put us off. I feel that a family package like mugs to paint and drinks for all for £50 would be reasonable or one cost of say £10 to paint and fire all your pottery. I did like the set up it felt that the cost is prohibitive and even if our adult members didn't participate it still would have been a stretch for our family holiday budget.

Very disappointed with our visit. We use these kind of creative cafes a lot with our 2 year old twins but this establishment has some serious catching up to do. We were happy to put up with the over priced artefacts and coffee as well as the cramped tables. What we were not happy about was the rudeness of a mature (and presumably senior) member of staff. The younger waiting staff were great - friendly and efficient. The attitude of one member of staff has negatively coloured the whole experience. Sighing, tutting and telling a visually impaired grandad to read the bill when he asked how much we owed is simply unacceptable. The owners really need to address the behaviour of this individual.

Would love to be able to give this more than a 3 star as the place itself is lovely and I cannot fault the staff as they were very good helping me with my 2 year old and 6month old to do hand pints. however it was a very quiet day and we were the only customers there. I cant say if you would receive the same level of one to one help on a busy summers day!!
But I have to agree with a number of reviews in that it was over priced... we came out over £130 worse of. I understand the concept of the studio fee however charging a 6 month old seams a little steep.

on the whole we would return but only for a very special occasion. not something you could just do on a random spare day I don't think.

Attended here with two children under age Ten. Woman smiles and says you can pay at the end. On top of over inflated sculptures to paint they add on £5 each child for studio fee. They then micro watch you coming to table to clean up and hover around. The male in the establishment then stood at front in an obvious attempt to sell food. Taking about various food products. Whole experience awful , girls struggled with intricate details of figures. I ended up paying 39.00 for an 3/4 hr . In summary over priced- awful atmosphere- awful will not be revisiting. Raining and only a few people in establishment speaks volumes.

I visited the Creative Cafe with my 11 month old daughter as I wanted her handprint and footprints on a tile.

The young lady in the cafe was very helpful and advised the best way to get the prints of a wriggly baby! She offered to help which was great and you could tell she had done it before.

I returned to collect the tile the next day and was very pleased with the quality.

Thank you for all your help, the coffee was very good as well!

We first visited the Creative Cafe 4 years ago and we came home with a lovely flower pot which always makes us smile. So when we came back to the area we thought we'd go again and we were looking forward it.

However this time the prices were very steep. There's a studio fee of £4.75 per person/child plus the cost of the item you choose to paint. We felt restricted by the prices and decided to just let the children paint one each when in fact we would have quite liked to do one too. Unless you paint a small tile you're looking at at least £12 per item upwards. We chose two small items for the children and the bill came to £35.50 plus about £10 for some drinks and a cake.

We have a similar pottery painting place near to where we live and we've done other similar painting things with the kids too. The prices at the creative cafe are double what we'd normally expect to pay.

We wouldn't go back simply because of the prices. In fact after sitting down we nearly left after seeing the prices but we didn't want to disappoint the children.

We are very sorry to hear you think we are overpriced and we do try to stay as competitive as possible. The studio fee has been in place for 10 years as this contributes towards the unlimited use of paints and the high quality finish we provide when glazing, we also have a wide range of products £12 and under including ornaments, piggy banks, plates, bowls, vases, tiles, pots, mugs, hangers and more. Our products start at just £5 for tiles with a wide range of ornaments at just £9, mugs start at £8 and plates at just £10.50. We believe our café to offer quality at affordable prices and you get something to keep after your enjoyable family time. It’s lovely to hear how much you cherish the flower pot you made and are sorry you didn’t find us competitive on your last visit. (Incidentally if you were to paint another plant pot these also start from only £9)

Thought we'd try this out on a rainy day !! Our mistake - can't get in if you don't book ?? But we didn't know it was going to rain on that day !!!
Parking space in front of cafe - that is it !!!
Cafe was heaving stood waiting to be seen for nearly 10mins by a lady who said she'd get back to us - we never saw her again. Then a gentleman saw to us &I said it was fully booked &I we couldn't do anything that day !! So a half hour road trip for nothing !
Can't say anything about the prices as we saw none !!!
