Our Lady of Good Counsel and St. Peter is a lovely church with a really strong community spirit. Well worth a visit, doors are normally open and everyone is welcomed. If you are new to the area or maybe just thought about returning to your faith.....this is the place to do it.
Fr Paul Maddison and Rev Martin Wells are a real asset to the church.
There is currently building works on the go next door! The new church hall is under way, this will be fantastic for the community when it's finished.

Delightful church with a very welcoming community. Sunday Mass was packed, great singing, very prayerful atmosphere and great sermon. Very international mix in the congregation and wide variety of ages. Children have their own liturgy during the first half of the Mass. Stayed for coffee after Mass in the parish hall, wonderful facilities. Catholic Church certainly not in decline here!

Lovely church, Father Paul Maddison is a real asset to his Faith.
The Church now boasts a brand new Church Hall which is ideal for Wedding receptions and functions.

I am thinking of moving to march. I am 60 and disabled. What is the church like with no priest?
