Super day out for children

Very pleasant trip and lots to do. The children are catered for and they enjoy the bikes to ride around on. We took a picnic with our 3 yr-old grandson and he had a great time.

Accessible by bus but far easier by car. Ample parking space and totally free to walk around and view different crafts being made. Miniature train ride, restaurant, pottery, sewing, basically just about every type of craft. We were tempted to pay to create our own pottery masterpieces but hadn't allowed enough time not realising just how much there was there... More

We had been to the village a couple of times but never ventured in to Barleylands. We have a 10 month old and took some friends as well. We all enjoyed the day and the different activities on offer. We enjoyed the goat, lamb and chicken racing. We bought some animal food for an extra £1 a bag and enjoyed... More

Have 3yr old grand daughter who has never got to ride on the train because of time restrictions, now the train has gone yet entry price is the same. An indoor areas that needs attention, always scruffy and too small for a rainy or cold spell. Limited tractor rides, although there's nothing to see round the farm, most lost interest... More

The craft village has many individual shops that can personalise their goods for you, there are so many wonderful goods from toys to wedding arrangements. They have a lovely tea room with homemade cakes and a gourmet restaurant for a romantic night out. I have to give a special mention to the Wedding shop as they saved my daughters wedding... More

The Farm Park and children's play area kept my grandson amused for hours. Chicken, goat and sheep racing was great fun. The craft village was also very good.

This is good for urban kids who have no access to farm animals. Otherwise there is little more for them to see. Nice little cafe and friendly staff. Not for adults but fun for children.

Staff were friendly and there was lots to do for young children! We really enjoyed bottle feeding the lambs at no extra cost and there was a lot of play areas for my niece to play in that the adults could join in on, such as the inflatable pillow and soft ball shooting area! The only downside is it is... More
