Nice colorful neighborhood in KULA LUMPUR, lots of restaurants and local shops.
The district is approximately 1 kilometer long and easily accessible on foot.
The restaurants serve dishes from North & South India.
The dishes can be very spicy.
The district is easily accessible by public transport and the GRAP

The shops are actually pretty pricey for clothing, we were expecting some cheap deals but didn't find any. I love Henna and managed to get one for 15 ringitt but they range from 5-15+. Go into any of the beauty salons and ask for Henna.

You will find unbeatable vibe and smell here. The sellers and prices are untrustworthy. Good for stroll, but streets are filthy.

Like the title says, this place is the Little India of Klang. Having been to the Little India in Kuala Lumpur (Jalan Masjid India), this place has all the shops and items that you would normally find in Little India.

While I am not proficient in all things sari, (As I have never used one nor intend to!), this place has it's fair share of sari's and traditional Indian costumes and then some. So if you are looking for a place to shop, say for traditional Indian costumes for a dinner party or event, this is the place to find them.

They are plenty of shops that also sell a variety of goods such as spices. Obviously. So if you are looking for spices to make that authentic as possible Indian food, this place has a few shops that provide all the authentic spices you need, they ones you probably won't find in the supermarket!

Also if you are looking for a variety of Indian music (CDs) or movies, here also to place to find it. The Sri Vasu Video shop sells all kinds of DVD and CDs.... but what I want to share with you is... it's hidden gem. Yes that's right

In the front of the store facing the main road (Jalan Tengku Kelana ) is the Sri Vasu Video Center. But in the back.. when walkthrough the shop is a restaurant! It's called VP Curry House.

This one of the hidden gems of Indian Cuisine right here in the Little India district of Klang. This is a banana leaf restaurant (They are a plenty here..) but this one is simply amazing. The food is cooked by the owners of the place and this food taste like authentic HOME-COOKED Indian food.

I used to visit my friends when I was growing up in his "Kampung" in TTDI back in the 1980s, and it was an Indian village. They used to cook lunch and dinner, and the food here at VP curry house was so full of flavor that it reminded me of the food back then.
(Their star dish is their fried chicken and sambal ikan bilis dish)

So if you are looking for fantastic, great, authentic, home-cooked banana leaf rice, head on to this place.

It was a lively and colourful place to see and be, just wandering along and taking in all of the sensory experience.

There is so much to explore here. From clothes to food. Some of the famous Indian food restaurants are situated here. A colourful place at night and with the arrival of Deepavali, this place would be even lively. However, parking is a big problem. Be careful when crossing the road.

This little corner of KL is perhaps the most vibrant area of the city. It is filled with a myriad of Indian shops and restaurants, including some of the highly rated ones in the city. From getting a Henna tattoo to buying traditional Indian bangles, you can find it all here.

The food in this area is just as diverse as the subcontinent; south indian, north indian, punjabi cuisine -- you can find it all here.

The place is always over crowded. Very difficult to get a car parking there. But, you can get best sarees and jewelries with affordable price here. Not forgetting the authentic indian foods, it's a must try.
