The attraction was understaffed during our visit. Because of this it took us over an hour to even get through the ground school. Once we were allowed onto the ropes it was just one thing gone wrong after the next. Many of the people in the group ahead of us were having trouble with the clips and were frequently stuck along the course which created a backlog for us. It was very hot and we had to wear our mask the entire time which was very challenging especially for our 11 year old. We spent over an hour and a half in the ropes courses but I only got through three green courses because of the waiting and delays. It was quite expensive as well $187 for four of us. We all left pretty underwhelmed with the whole experience.

I’m 13 and went on the course by myself, I finished all levels of difficulty and the blacks were definitely difficult but great if your looking for a challenge! This course is great for both beginners and experienced people. You can take as long as you want, while most people get tired between 1.5-2 hours you can stay all day! This is great because even though this was my first time tree trekking I stayed a good 6 hours and finished all of the courses and then some. The staff are absolutely amazing and are all throughout the course if you ever need anything all you need to do is give a shout. They are very helpful and if you are ever not sure how to do a certain part of the course they are there with tips and tricks for you. I had a great day and met some great people! (There’s also a very nice view)

This course is definitely a challenge but so so fun!
The staff are really friendly and give great advice as to which course may be appropriate for you. They provide great assistance and support throughout the whole course too! Shout out to all them!
We had an amazing and exhausting time!

To everyone who says it's too expensive, the price is no different and tree top trekking courses in southern Ontario. And it's well worth the money.

Yes it’s expensive, but we’ll worth the money. So much fun, amazing challenges. You can easily spend a few hours. For every level of fitness.

thank you for the incredible time my kids and I had on the Timber Challenge High Ropes course yesterday. I would personally like to thank one of your employees who helped us through the training. He was very helpful and he made my kids feel confident and laugh their nerves away I’d like to know the employees name so this review can be directed to him and so I can remember to thank him when we come back! I remember him having a lot of tattoos and brown hair
Thanks for the great experience!

Awesome challenges and really enjoyed. Black courses are definitely for those in great shape, with a focus on upper body strength. My 17 year old brother was challenged and he competes in rowing and is generally considered strong. My sister (16) and I (21) struggled with the black course but still finished. Blue and green courses are a fantastic time. Some warning about the self-belay would have been much appreciated, was an unpleasant surprise for my sister.

On our second day on the ropes, we had the pleasure of working with an employee, Chris. He clearly loved what he did, took it seriously and had a great sense of humor and positivity. Was by far the best employee we encountered at the resort. He was very helpful on the courses as well as encouraging. Cant say enough good things about him! Model employee for sure.

We love this review, and are glad you were able to challenge yourselves with the different obstacles on the course. Some parts really require courage being so high up, its great that you all finished it! We will be sure to pass this message along to Chris! We hope to welcome you all back to the resort again soon.

Don’t let the title deceive you!

My sister and I did the high ropes course today and loved it. The pre-course helped calm the nerves as we were walked through the procedures for each stage and then had a chance to practice before showtime.

I was VERY anxious about this activity and the first couple of elements on the first course were a bit touch and go on my nerves but I got through them and the more I continued, the calmer I felt. The progression of difficulty was well planned out and before you know it, I was doing courses at the next level!

In terms of safety, there were employees staked out in strategic places to coach you through and tricky elements and help with your confidence.

I think we lucked out with a quiet day but we could imagine bigger crowds taking away from the overall experience.

The only thing that prevented this from earning a 5 was that they really need to wash the gloves frequently. They smelled terribly and were clearly old and unwashed. Our first stop post-adventure was a good hot hand wash.

Thank you for this great review. We are so grateful to see such a great review. The Timber Challenge High Ropes can sure test your nerves - its great fun and challenging at the same time. Thank you for the feedback on the gloves. We do have them for the colder and inclement days - but the fun sunny days of summer they are not needed at all. We hope to see you back again soon

This was suggested to us by a family member. This is a good team building exercise, but somewhat terrifying if you haven't tried it or don't know what to expect. You are double strapped at all times with cables, to high tension wires for safety.
You are high up in trees, so if heights aren't your thing, this isn't for you. You walk across ropes, wires, and wooden structures that are free floating. It's pretty scary, but challenging. There is a sense of accomplishment when finished, and well worth the $63.00 for 3 hours.
The staff were great, maybe a bit more instruction would have been helpful while suspended 50 feet up in the air. I'm sure they do this all the time, but forget everyone doesn't. Will definitely be back.

The Timer challenge course is a great activity at Blue! The Tweezle system keeps you secure without a guide standing over your shoulder. This allows a lot more freedom because you chose where you go and how quickly you move. I was there in the late fall so it was not busy.

I love to physically challenge myself. I pride myself on being able to "DO IT ALL". Well ... this black diamond course challenged me beyond my capabilities. That does not mean I did not 'do it', it means I did not do it 'RIGHT'. I cheated. I challenge anyone who thinks that they are in TOP phsyical shape to successfully master the black diamond course!

Now you may look at who is writing this review and say ...'Oh, it's an OLD lady.... I can do it!" Just want to let you know that the 'youngins' on my course, backed away and let me go! Honestly, by the end of the course I 'cheated' so I challenge you to "DO IT RIGHT". Have fun and enjoy.
