Easy to find, pleasant staff, well-groomed trails with lots of signage. I would recommend for both snowshoeing or cross country skiing. You can easily spend 2-3 hours on the different trails.

It's well worth a 3 hour drive to the Blue Mountains especially when the sun peeks out from the strand of trees. Went with two friends for a great 4-5 hour snow shoe at Scenic Caves. We brought our own equipment and stopped in at the centre for some piping hot fries and soup before heading out. Loved the cozy... More

It was my first time cross country skiing at Scenic Caves. The experience was perfect. The service was wonderful, the trails were in perfect condition and they even had warm up huts along the paths where you could order hot chocolate or coffee. The best surprise was that despite it being the holidays, the trails were never crowded. I am... More

Thank you Mel for your enthusiastic five star recommendation. With 27 km of groomed cross country ski trails, there are lots of options to explore without seeing anything but wildlife and 200 ft. tall trees. There are also 10 km of snowshoe trails which are dedicated, not shared with the ski trails. The snow conditions are excellent this year –... More

We wanted to try snowshoeing and spend the afternoon outside. Our experience was outstanding! There are so many great thing to say about the Scenic Caves Nordic Centre. My friend and I needed to rent snowshoes (and I needed poles). The customer service experience was great - very helpful! They explained the different trails and recommended a route that would... We originally came to see the caves, but what we found was a complete outdoor adventure park available to persons with all physical levels to enjoy the outdoors without ever stepping foot into the caves. The lake and picnic areas provide for outdoor enjoyment. The family could easily spend a day here. We visited Mid-May and could see the facility... More

Wow! What a fabulous unforseen adventure to see nature at its finest. Pack a good lunch and good hiking shoes and you gonna be able to go all day. Just keep your eyes on the clock for the sunset because it get pitch black. Bring a flashlight just in case.

We really appreciate the five star review from your August adventure. Thanks for offering your suggestions of packing lunch/snacks – there’s nothing like refueling your energy when you are exploring the great outdoors. Solid hiking/running shoes with good treads are a necessity at Scenic Caves. Sandals, crocks, flip flops are not permitted due to safety concerns. The last ticket is... More

My 17 year old son and myself went here on Nov.18. It was a beautiful, warm day. We spent 2 hours exploring the caves and the suspension bridge. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the fall with the leaves on the trees. It is quite a walk in either direction (suspension bridge one way and caves... More

Thank you Mrs. T for visiting with your teenage son and for offering your comments. The property is not always open throughout November. We’re delighted that you were able to enjoy the beautiful weather during this extended Autumn season. As you described, the trail through the caves/caverns and crevasses is rocky, uneven, with several steep stair inclines and declines. It... More
