Wow! What a fabulous unforseen adventure to see nature at its finest. Pack a good lunch and good hiking shoes and you gonna be able to go all day. Just keep your eyes on the clock for the sunset because it get pitch black. Bring a flashlight just in case.

We really appreciate the five star review from your August adventure. Thanks for offering your suggestions of packing lunch/snacks – there’s nothing like refueling your energy when you are exploring the great outdoors. Solid hiking/running shoes with good treads are a necessity at Scenic Caves. Sandals, crocks, flip flops are not permitted due to safety concerns. The last ticket is... More

My 17 year old son and myself went here on Nov.18. It was a beautiful, warm day. We spent 2 hours exploring the caves and the suspension bridge. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the fall with the leaves on the trees. It is quite a walk in either direction (suspension bridge one way and caves... More

Thank you Mrs. T for visiting with your teenage son and for offering your comments. The property is not always open throughout November. We’re delighted that you were able to enjoy the beautiful weather during this extended Autumn season. As you described, the trail through the caves/caverns and crevasses is rocky, uneven, with several steep stair inclines and declines. It... More

We decided to be adventurous today and visited the Scenic Caves at Blue Mountain. Since it was early November, the zip lining and wagon rides were already decommissioned for the season - no biggie - the caves and suspension bridge were enough to fill our afternoon. The terrain of boulders and leaf covered soil were a bit slippery but there... More

Thank you Olivia for visiting Scenic Caves Nature Adventures and for providing your detailed five star review. The property is generally closed by the end of October (including the Eco Adventure Tour, Thunderbird Twin Zipline, Rocky the train + country wagon). However, the fall colours and weather forecasts have been so incredible, we have remained open this year with limited... More

Went this morning with our 4 boys aged 5-14. It was not busy and they loved the freedom of following the well labeled and laid out path and going from one spot to the next. The caves themselves were small and a bit underwhelming, but the kids still enjoyed them. They especially liked fitting through Fat Man's Misery :)! Scenic... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this five star recommendation. We’re delighted to hear your four boys burnt off energy hiking through the trail of caves/caverns/crevasses and across the Suspension Bridge. There is a nature trail at the end of the bridge which loops back up the hill to the main area. Scenic Caves is generally open until... More

The suspended bridge and the caves are a must see while visiting the blue mountains, I suggest in the summer time. Nature at its best. Caves like I ve never seen before. Gorgeous.

Thank you for your 5 star recommendation and glowing comments. Perhaps next time you can reserve a guided Eco Adventure Tour and enjoy treetop canopy walking and ziplining! The trail of caves/caverns/crevasses is open from spring to fall. The views are different every season. In the winter, the property transitions to a winter wonderland, offering cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. More

Did the Eco Adventure tour, including the suspension bridge, high ropes course and zip lines. High ropes and zip lines were a blast. Beautiful fall views. Glad we went and would do it again!

Thank you Ben for your enthusiastic recommendation. The Eco Adventure Tour features treetop canopy walking - 600 meters across 10” wide airborne walkways strung between a web of platform decks. It is very safe as you are clipped on at all times. There are two ziplines, one through the forest and the finale from the top of the escarpment. The... More

Peter and Taylor brought our group through the trees after teaching us about staying safe, then did a small zip line as a warmup. After touring breath-taking fall views of Collingwood, we toured the caves, and arrived at our awesome 1000ft zip line! This was my hubbie's and my first time on a zip line - and I felt completely... Wow! Can’t get much better than ‘excellent’! Thanks Orillia Hockey Mom for this wonderful 5 star review of the Eco Adventure Tour. Safety is a priority for Scenic Caves. On the treetop canopy walk, visitors are taught to remain hooked at all times, especially manoeuvering around the trees. The equipment and ziplines are checked daily by the guides – you... More

Spent about 3 hours touring around the Scenic Caves area. Ok, there are a couple of small Caves, but most of the area is a lot of fallen boulders, which in some areas you have to climb on and over to get up and out of the canyon. As seniors (63 and 67) we were asked when buying tickets "are... More

Thank you Kay for visiting our Canadian Signature Experience. As you described, the trail of caves/ caverns/ crevasses is best described as a series of chambers, with sculptured cliffs, overhanging rocks, boulders, tight passageways and jig-saw puzzle fractures. The property has intentionally been kept in its natural state, although in some areas, metal stairs have been added for safety. Guests... More

My wife wanted to see the fall colour change on Thanksgiving weekend and what better place to experience this is Collingwood and the Blue Mountains. Tony – thank you for day tripping to view the spectacular scenery at Scenic Caves on the Thanksgiving weekend. The scenic view and lookouts are superb every season. In the fall, the 100 ft. tall trees in the hardwood forest are ablaze with colour. Sugar Maples flame apricot-orange-red. Birch, Elm, Beech + Ironwood sparkle brilliant yellow, while the Poplars radiate... More

Rode the gondola which was very fun from the Blue Mountain village to the top of the mountain, then walked the fifteen minutes to the Scenic Caves. We walked to the suspension bridge first, which was another fifteen minute walk. Then you have to double back to get to the caves. Once at the caves there is a lot of... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Many guests aren’t aware that Scenic Caves is privately owned/operated - a separate business from Blue Mountain Resort. To clarify, Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is an outdoor attraction, featuring a hiking trail of caves/ caverns/ crevasses and a 420 ft.
