I went to the Scenic Caves with my family and a friend's family this past weekend and had a great time. The kids had lots of fun gem mining, playing mini golf, riding the wagon and train, also seeing some caves. Wives went to do the twin zipline. It was fun. Staff was nice and the park was very clean.... More

My husband and I have a cabin in the area and after many years of visiting realized we'd NEVER done the scenic caves, which were just 7 minutes from our doorstep! Today we took the Eco Adventure tour-Donna and Jasmine were WONDERFUL guides who took our group across the suspension bridge (where we took in the "million dollar view", tree... More

The Eco Adventure guides love touring guests through the property and sharing information regarding the ecology, history, geology and legends. The views from the 420 ft. We purchased the Eco-tour package which included the tree top walk, suspension bridge, scenic caves and two zip line rides. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tree top walk was comprised of boards hanging from steel cables. Although personal safety is absolutely not a concern due to the harness and restraint system used, the boards and connectors seemed a... More

This was a great little opportunity to get your steps In For the day while seeing some caves. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing such as sneakers and leggings.... Some of the rocks are slippery and if going thru the one tight cave you don't want to scratch up your legs You can spend as much time here as you... More

We appreciate the five star review of your adventure. Running/ hiking shoes with good treads are mandatory. The trail through the caves/caverns and crevasses can be slippery and the rocky terrain uneven. It’s great advice to dress in layers and appropriately for the anticipated temperature. Our website offers a glimpse of local weather under the Plan Your Visit/Weather Tab. Be... More

Makes for a nice afternoon of hiking and enjoying the sunshine. The views from the suspension bridge are great. The caves were just OK. Overall it made for a nice afternoon, but I doubt that I would return again. It needs a few more activities.

Thank you for your comments. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the hiking and the Suspension Bridge views. On a clear sunny day, you can see 10,000 sq. km. of south Georgian Bay! During the fall, the hours of operation shorten (due to available daylight) and some of the activities operate on the weekends only, such as: tractor-wagon ride and... More

I was there in summer - Aug 2016 and the day was very bright and a bit scorchy. However, hiking in the mountain and adventuring into caves were enjoyable. I would advice that one should go planned to hike and go through the adventure. For a casual tourist visitor (assuming most of the tourists would travel from Toronto or surrounding... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your summer experience at Scenic Caves. We love to hear from International visitors. This summer was particularly hot/humid – hopefully you found the trail through the caves/caverns/crevasses cooler. As you suggest, visitors should be prepared to hike outdoors through the property which is why running/hiking shoes are mandatory. Sandals and open-toed shoes... More

Beautiful scenery. Wear running shoes. Great photos opportunities. Zip line was great for adults and teens, bigger than Blue Mountains zip line and a better deal.

Thank you for your enthusiastic five star review. There are so many fabulous locations for photos: throughout the trails, from the lookouts at the top of the Escarpment, on the Thunderbird Twin Zipline, at the 420 ft. Suspension Bridge. When the colours change during the fall, the landscape is spectacular. We’re so pleased you thought the fee for admission offered... More

Great view hiking trail, and you have to go on the suspension bridge. The view is amazing and extraordinary. If you have time, do the zip line. Longest ride in Ontario and best view possible. Well worth the price.

What a beautiful way to spend a few hours if you are in the area ! The climb "might" be challenging for those with bad knees and impossible for those with mobility issues.
