A very traditional thing to know about Japan culture.

As I am not much interested in old shrine or jinja, I was not involved there so much. There was tree of many hundreds years old I can remember standing on the way of the shrine spreading its long branches.

Kumano Shrine makes me amazed, not only because of its beauty that is surrounded by many aged cedars group but also due to cultural importance.
So, if you want to experience your quiet historical place to travel to, there is always Kumano in Shobara.

Amazing Shrine Surrounded by Old Trees
Aug 2018 • Friends
Thus place is great for those who likes nature and want to experience the positive energy. I was introduced by the guide to a tree that was believed to be the spot for the Tengu to rest. The trees surrounding the area is at least 1000 years old. There is actually 3 shrines in the area, the main shrine, the second shrine not far to the left of the main shrine and the third shrine about 7 km inside the forest. The place is a great spot to walk around. Definitely recommended for any one who likes to walk in nature.
