This was the first attraction I visited in Ataco. Located in front of a beautiful park, it is easy to find. Behind the Main Altar is a manger with statues of Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus. Along the aisles going to this Main Altar are freshly cut white flowers.
On both side doors are paintings depicting the celebration of 100 years of history. There are also other statues of saints at several of its interior areaa.
Enjoy your visit, visit the park located across it.

This is a large church located in Ataco, which is one of the towns that is part of the Ruta De Las Flores route.
It’s free to enter and is attractive both internally and externally.
Don’t expect anything grandeur given its located in a town of only 13000 people but it is a attraction that adds weight to the larger tour and the town of Ataco is possibly the prettiest in the route.

It‘s a nice littlte chapel in the heart of this beautiful village which definitely invites for a visit. It‘s located next to the nice plaza. Definitely recommended to enjoy the great atmosphere.

Worth seeing if in town nice church with nice ambiance but what really struck me as beautiful is its chapel to its side. If in Ataco worth a visit

If you're in Ataco, go and visit this church. It's very old and nicely conserved inside. There are Masses daily and it has a small chapel inside.

Ataco is a great mountain time with really good whether and colonial buildings in mint shape. The church and central plaza are greatly preserved.

This church is the beautiful centerpiece of the lovely town of Concepcion de Ataco. Visit the church, the facing plaza with stone fountains, and stroll thru the town.

This was just one stop as we walked around Ataco. It's a lovely little church in a lovely town that is well worth visiting. We were there as part of a guided tour of Ruta de las Floras with Francisco Tobar (thextemetour@yahoo.com). We were glad we booked a tour with him rather than going on our own because he showed us a lot of things (places, food, etc) that we would not have experienced and he filled us in on many customs and history. We only had 3 days to see some of El Salvador and we felt like we got a better feel for the people and the culture than we would have on our own.

The church was renovated in 2003 and still looks great - it’s clear the parish has a lot of pride in their church. It’s not ornately decorated, but is nicely done. Worth a few minutes to pop in for a look.

Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning Mass is a must when visiting Ataco; a place where you will feel at home and get the sense and warmth of the Ataco people, always smiling and kind to visitors. A very old Church with exquisite architecture and detailed decoration, helping to keep tradition and values, joining families and attracting everyone around.
