Very impressive gorge, easily reached by the tram from Toyama. We missed the fall folliage - and the crowds - but still enjoyed hiking in this area and plan to return.

During october , autmn, the bridge is crossing over running kurobe river with background of steep gorges with snow capped mountain range at top , it's very beautiful with cool temp/ crowd of locals and foreign tourists.

This is just as nice as the pictures, but nothing more. :) Yes it is still very beautiful, but considering that it can get very crowded on the bridge, pick a low season to go if you're going for the photography.
