Took bus from Nasushiobara station, about 50min. Nasushiobara is 70min Shinkansen from Tokyo. Bus is also covered in JR Nagano Niigata pass. Nice place to visit in autumn. About 10min walk down slope & half way down the slope I was so glad I came! a wide view of mountains & pretty autumn colours .. not crowded probably is Mon. Nice walk on suspension bridge, walking above the lake with mountains surrounded feeling is great. Was windy so the bridge sway a little, that doesn't bother me at all. There are café & souvenir shop, have lunch & coffee there was so relax & enjoyable. A stall outside souvenir shop sell roasted big chestnut, nice! If you miss the last bus to Nasushiobara, not to worry, just take the next bus to alight at Nishinasuno station & take JR train (just 1 station only) to Nasushiobara.…
