It is good. But if u see the rice terrace, you need to make a travel plan. I recommend to stay Shiba Toge Unkai hotel Matudai Tokamachi-shi Niigata Japan.

Great views down the rice terraces from the top of a mountain pass. Great photo opportunities throughout the season and stunning views both at the terraces and the journey to them. Worth a quick detour if you are driving in the area.
