The station was opened in 1921 and today the building remains as it was at that time. We were welcomed by a friendly female station master, dressed in 1920 style.

this is a nice area you can use the free foot onsen take a small towel or buy one there , there is some great Onsens if you want to stay the night as well highly recommend.
