縄文時代の遺跡

比比多神社の裏にあります。今となっては濠の後しかありませんが段差ははっきりと残っています。夏はセミがギーギーうるさいくらいの環境です。小学生高学年の自由研究などにはいいかもしれません

縄文時代の遺跡

比比多神社の裏にある縄文時代の遺跡です。東名高速の工事の際にこちらに移設されたものです。柵に囲まれていてすぐ近くまでは行けませんが、敷かれている石の様子を少し離れた所から見ることはできます。

縄文時代からつづく祭祀の地

「三之宮・比々多神社」本殿のちょうど裏手に、金網の柵で囲まれて「環状列石と住居跡」があります。東名高速道路の拡張工事の際に発掘されたものを移設したものです。比々多神社の境内周辺には、かつて広大な下谷戸縄文遺跡があったようで、縄文時代からこの一帯は祭祀の地であったということです。この遺跡から発掘された出土品の一部は境内横にある「三宮郷土博物館」に展示されています。悠久の時の流れを感じます！

こんなところに縄文遺跡があったんですね。勉強不足で知りませんでした。比々多神社にある三之宮郷土博物館とセットでの見学をお勧めします。

住居跡の石

縄文時代の住居跡で、石が敷き詰められていて、その様子がわかります。小さな施設で、石しかありませんので、興味ない方には面白くありません。小学生とかが勉強に訪れるようです。

比々多神社境内にある遺跡

縄文時代の遺跡（主に石を敷き詰めた住居跡、環状列石）です。比々多神社の社殿の後ろ側に移築保存されています。柵があり中には入れませんが外側から見学できます。元々この遺跡があった場所は神社の南東、東名高速道路と県道が交差しているあたりで、東名高速の工事の際、発見されたそうです。
