こちらは創業150年にもなる老舗。店内には試食コーナーがあり、購入時には自分の好みのモノを選ぶことが可能。これは嬉しいが、あれもこれもと迷ってしまう。また店舗隣には「かまぼこ伝統館」なる小さなスペースですが、昔使用していた道具や原料となる魚等の展示や解説があります。

箱根の帰り、正月用の蒲鉾を買わないとの事で本店に立ち寄りました。さすが年末なので店内は大勢の寄で賑わっていました赤と白を一個ずつ購入しました。丸うさんの蒲鉾が好きですね。店の前に5台くらい置ける駐車場があります。専属の警備の方も丁寧な誘導をしてくれました。 今度は卵の黄身を活かした、君まきを是非買いたいです。

丸うで有名な田代の総本店に買い物に行きました。同じものがいろいろなショップで買えるのですが、雰囲気がいいです。ここで買うと格別な感があります。

小田原の蒲鉾といえば鈴廣と思っていたが、地元の人は丸うがお勧めとのことで
今回は丸うさんへ行くことにしました。
小田原駅から徒歩２０分程度の海岸通り(通称かまぼこ通り、蒲鉾屋がいつぱいあり)
にある老舗の店舗。創業は明治元年で、関東大震災により建替(右側の店舗は残って
いるともこと)、その後昭和６２年に改装したようです。
右側の店舗の中には雛人形がいっぱい飾られていた。左側の店舗は花まるうという
喫茶店になっているようで、店舗で買い物をすると一杯無料券が貰えるそうです。
中央の店舗が店になっており、入って左側には試食コーナーがありました。
多数試食品が並べてあり、ご丁寧な事にお茶まで用意されている。
試食すると実際旨い。蒲鉾は弾力が強く、口の中で旨さが広がる。
蒲鉾以外にも伊達巻・塩辛等も販売されてます。おすすめの一品を購入しました。
また道を挟んだ反対側には駐車場も完備。店舗の奥には若干狭いですが、
かまぼこ伝統館(資料館)がありいろいろな資料の展示、総理大臣賞や色紙等も
飾られていました。

お正月の御節用の買い物や伊豆箱根から帰宅時のお土産を購入ついでにお向かいの「小田原おでん」さんにも寄らせてもらってます。元々子供が小学生の時、工場見学でちくわを作ってから数ある小田原の蒲鉾店の中でつなぎが少なくお魚の味がしっかりした美味しい商品にいつも感激してます！三代目の伊達巻と笹かま イサキ蒲鉾が家族の定番です。

丸う田代 本店は旧東海道のかまぼこ通りあります。街かど博物館のひとつになっていて店内にあるかまぼこ伝統館で小田原蒲鉾造り絵巻、原料魚の模型、つけ包丁、細工蒲鉾などを展示していて蒲鉾のことが良く分かって良かったです。
かまぼこ通りの外れですが、足を延ばしても良いところでした。

練り物好きな旦那のために、いつも食べてる練り物屋さんとは別のお店にしようとこちらへ伺いました。
近くに有名なひものやさんもあります。お店は、立派で、試食して選べるのも嬉しいです。平日の午後ですいてました。

小田原市浜町の旧東海道＝かまぼこ通りにある立派な店構えのかまぼこ屋さんです。今風の雰囲気を持つ鈴廣さんとは異なり、老舗感を前面に出したお店ですね。

小田原はかまぼこで有名です。かまぼこ屋が並ぶ かまぼこ街道があるほど。このお店は最も有名なうちのひとつです。

小田原の通称「かまぼこ通り」にある有名店です。小田原市内には多数のかまぼこの老舗があり、価格帯や人の好みが関係するので、味で順番をつけるのは無理ですが、おみやげ屋さんやスーパーでの入手性や取扱量では、丸うはトップクラスだと思います。お店の向かいには数台分の駐車スペースもあり、またそれほど交通量の多い通りではないので、伊豆からの帰り道に車で立ち寄るにはいいと思います。小田原駅からだと15分くらい歩くことになります。
