The greatest attraction of Enoshima Benten Bridge is that it is a pedestrian-only road. Moreover, at the entrance to the bridge there is a monument that reads "Enoshima, a famous historical site (see attached photo)," and the view of the Enoshima Sea Candle will really get you in the tourist mood. Next, you will be greeted by a large lantern carved with a dragon (see attached photo), which was built to commemorate the 1450th anniversary of the establishment of Enoshima Shrine and is a perfect fit for Enoshima, where dragons are said to live. Furthermore, if the weather is good you can also see Mount Fuji (see attached photo), and there is no better view than this for the entrance to Enoshima sightseeing.

This is an important bridge for walking across to Enoshima.
680 metres is quite a distance.
It was unfortunate that the weather started to deteriorate towards the evening, but the views were great.
You can cross this long bridge while looking out at the sea, and if the weather had been better, I think I could have taken some great photos.
But the sunlight peeking through the clouds from time to time was really nice.

You can walk to Enoshima island by walking on this bridge. It’s a nice walk but quite windy and cold. Prepare extra clothes if you would like to walk there. It’s around 15 mins to complete the journey.

Take a camera and enjoy the view.
Viewing spots available on the bridge to avoid causing people to stop while you take pictures.
As with everywhere in Japan be prepared for crowds at peak times.

We really liked our stroll across the bridge, the nice view of the beach & all birds of prey. And the view of the island is wonderful.

Unless you're paying for a ride on one of the boats that (I think) goes to the pier on the Iwaya Caves side on a Saturday(?), most of you will be going across this bridge to get to Enoshima island.

The views from the bridge can be very good for photographs, depending on the weather. However, the pedestrian walkway can get a bit crowded on very good weather days, so there small sections on the bridge which allow you to take photos without impeding anyone, or getting bumped in the process. This wasn't a problem when I arrived in mid-morning, but I felt like a salmon swimming upstream when departing just after the Noon hour. I also noticed that I didn't see any seagulls in the area, mainly because of all the hawks that were perched on the streetlights along the road.

The bridge connects the mainland and Enoshima Island. The bridge itself isn't anything special but the views of the surroundings is nice.

A nicely decorated bridge that goes to the island, not a bad way to build up your anticipation of arriving to the island.

You need the bridge to reach the island. It is not beautiful, but very functional. At present, there is some temporary work underway, reducing the pedestrian lanes.
