公園のついでにどうぞ。

袖ヶ浦公園の広大な敷地内に古代住居や「アクアラインなるほど館」など袖ヶ浦市の生活や歴史、文化に関する展示施設が整備されています。
公園自体がかなり広いので、全部の施設を周るつもりならばかなり歩くと思います。
気候の良い日の週末は、地元の家族連れなどで公園はかなり賑わっていますが、郷土博物館は閑散としています。

公園内にある充実した歴史館

袖ヶ浦公園の中にあります。映像展示室、歴史展示室,民俗展示室等に分かれていて、古代から近代まで袖ヶ浦にまつわる歴史を、模型や写真を多用して、わかりやすく解説していました。
また、すぐ近くにはアクアラインなるほど館や移築した古民家があり、公園でのんびり過ごす以上の価値があるところでした。

袖ケ浦市の歴史がよくわかる

袖ケ浦公園内にあり、袖ケ浦の歴史を学べます。入場料は無料で、入館時に受付で必要事項を記入するだけです。
館内には映像展示室袖ケ浦シアター、歴史展示室、民俗展示室
、産業展示室があり歴史が学べます。博物館の屋外展示施設には、アクアラインなるほど館、移築民家（旧進藤家住宅）、万葉植物園、古代住居の広場、上総掘り体験足場などがありいろいろと知識を吸収できます。

広い敷地に点在する様々な施設

立派な2階建ての展示館とあわせて　アクアラインなるほど館や　江戸時代の旧新藤家住宅　上総掘りのやぐら　復元された古代住居など　様々な年代のこの地方の文化の一端に触れることができます。

さらに万葉植物園もあって季節ごとに咲く花を眺めることもでき　アクアラインを渡ってすぐなので　海ほたるとあわせて訪れてみるのも良いでしょう。

袖ヶ浦公園の散策途中では是非立ち寄りたい。

展示物も、かなりしっかりしたものでした。
これで無料とはすごい。過去の展示物に解説を加えたパンフレットを、本にまとめたりしてくれないかな…。
学芸員の方の努力が素晴らしいです。もっと多くの人に見てもらいたい。

企画展「袖ヶ浦の水辺～人と生き物のくらし～」を見に行きました。入場無料が嬉しい。２階がブルー、１階がオレンジと案内動線が足跡で明示されて分かり易い。２階の山野貝塚コーナーのみ撮影可能。袖ヶ浦公園散策ツイデ寄りに適しています。

袖ヶ浦公園の敷地内にあったので何気なく入ってみました。袖ヶ浦の歴史や文化が展示されいていました。公園に行ったついでによってもいいかなって感じでした。

規模はそんなに大きくありませんが、袖ヶ浦周辺の歴史がわかりやすく展示されています。
近くに公園もあるのでついでに寄ってみるといいと思います。
