It’s right next to the ferry pier with ferry service to the other side of Tokyo Bay. The promenade is quite simple yet opens out to the lovely sea view of the bay. There’s a big souvenir shop, a few restaurants and a large parking lot.

“Kanaya Ocean Park”

Situated in Kanaya (JR Hama-Kanaya Station) in Futtsu, Chiba Prefecture. The park is laid out along the bay area and is the ferry terminal as well. The park offers wonderful views over the Tokyo bay where one can see large ships passing by and the wonderful cloud formations over the bay. There is a large market area and some food joints as well. It is a 15 minute walk from the JR Hama-Kanaya station on the Uchibo Line.
