Entrance fee was 1000 Yen per person in November but the price vary by the month. There are about 1600 varieties of roses on site. There are signs identifying each type of rose. It’s a nice break away from the city. Be sure to pick up a pamphlet at the entrance which has a map of the Garden. There are... More

U have to love the garden... very accessible from Tokyo. Just get on the Tozai line and change at nishi- funabashi. If u are on the same Tozai, but on the RAPID, u get to remain onboard at nishi-funabashi before u get off at yachiyomidorigaoka station. From here, a 5 min bus ride...walla. I like the small udon and tendon... More

I was there on June 11th of this year. Lots of the flowers were ungroomed and just not too much blossoms.... I thought the flowers at Disneyland were in much better condition!! There is an entrance fee so I felt rather unhappy about the flower condition being so sloppy.... They do sell roses too. It is a LONG walk from... More

I returened to visit this large rose garden. It was over a busy weekend where about 17,000 people visited the garden as well. The roses were in full bloom. It was a sight. Bands played music throughout the day and they completed a three week rose festival with speakers and art displays. The restaurant, La Rose is very good for... More

The garden opens from quite early morning (6am-) for limited several days in the best season. Took a walk with sweet rose scents, listening music. As of May 23/24 2013, I believe it was the best weekend to see the fully blooming roses there thanks to recent warm/hot weather. From the small hill, it looks like a huge rose rug!

One of the best rose gardens in the world. I loved the different varities and the treatment of each one. We got there right at peak of bloom. Don't miss.
