健田の地名を冠した健田神社と、結城家の初代頼光公創建と言われスサノオを祀る須賀神社が合祀された神社です。沢山の絵馬が、地域で信奉されていることを表しています。いわゆる十二社神社とは異なる、「十二社縁起」なるものもあり興味深かったです。

石畳の参道は綺麗に手入れされており、銅板葺屋根の拝殿は堂々として見応えがありました。なお、本殿は屋根の修復工事中だったのでよく見えませんでした。場所はＪＲ結城駅から徒歩5、6分と便利な立地です。

結城市街の中心部にあって、それなりに長い参道を進むとこれまた予想外に大きな本殿が現れて、ちょっとびっくり。当地に封じられた結城氏が創建し、結城郷の総社となったものです。

結城市街の中心部にあって、境内も広くて悠々とした神社です。参道を進むとその正面ではなくて、右手に本殿。いきなり立派な本殿が目に入って、ちょっとインパクトがありました。

健田須賀神社は、1200年の歴史を持つ、結城氏の氏神
結城市民には、初詣のほか祭り行事など深い神社です。
我が家は、毎年初詣に行きおみくじをひくのが恒例になっています。
毎年、女性陣が大吉、お父さんは小吉ってのがお決まり。
しかし今年は、女性陣が小吉、そしてお父さんは末吉でした。
ヤッパリ、女性にはかなわないってことがわかりました。
結城市民には、初詣のほか祭り行事など深い神社です。

JR結城駅から徒歩5分程の住宅街にある平らで小さな神社です。面積は小さいですが建物は立派で、祭典も盛んであり、由緒が特に素晴らしいです。
明治3年（1870）に「健田神社」と「須賀神社」が合祀され誕生したのがここ「健田須賀神社」です。「健田神社」は『延喜式』（927）にも記載されている大変歴史ある古社、「須賀神社」は1242年に結城家初代朝光が愛知県津島市の津島神社より勧請して以来ずっとこの地で結城家第一の氏神として手厚く祀られている神社です。その手厚さは、結城家は18代秀康の頃に福井越前へ移封になってしまうのですが、その後も家臣を遣わし変わらず崇敬されたほどなのだとか。
5月の祭典時には長い参道に結城名物のゆでまんじゅうを含め様々な屋台が並び大変な賑わいでした。社務所で授与いただける縁起物も豊富にあります。結城観光には外せないスポットです。

結城駅から周辺を散策にて立ち寄りました。建田神社と須賀神社が合わさって今の神社になったそうです。立派な神社でした。参拝してきました〇

倉美術館と駅の間に位置するお社です。倉美術館に展示してあった御手杵のお守りや、招き猫の御神籤をひくことが出来ます。

見世蔵が並ぶ通りあたりに広い境内があります。古くからこの地にある神社で、須賀神社は結城家初代により建立されたもの。狛犬も江戸時代初期のもので、なかなか見事なものです。お守りには御手杵の槍守というこの神社オリジナルの災難突破、勝負開運のお守りがあります。
