江戸時代からの渡し船

境島村は利根川で南北に分かれていて、このこの九人乗りの渡し船で繋がっています。観光用ではなく伊勢崎市道の一部となっていることから利用は無料、江戸時代より変わらず生活の一部であると感じました。

利根川の伊勢崎市島村地区を結ぶ渡船です。片側の島村地区は世界遺産の田島弥平宅にも近く、両岸をコミュニティバスも運行しているので、バス～船～散策と楽しめます。
