桐生駅からのんびり歩いて30分くらいの所にある、桐生が岡公園の麓にある神社です。関東で唯一の兵庫県西宮市えびす宮総本社西宮本社の直系分社で、「関東一社 桐生西宮神社」と呼ばれています。美和神社の境内社なのですが、主であるはずの美和神社よりも西宮神社側の方がキレイに整備されていて、西宮神社専用の参道と手水舎、そして公式ホームページもあります。11月の「桐生ゑびす講」には、商売繁盛を願う多くの参詣客が県内外から訪れ大変な賑わいを見せます。私も子供の頃に両親に連れられて、夜のお祭りを楽しみました。
今回はゴールデンウィーク中の午前中に散歩がてら訪れました。しかし手水舎には水がなく、境内には人の気配もおみくじ売り場もなく、鳥のさえずりだけが聞こえていました。（宮司さんは常駐しておらず、桐生天満宮の宮司さんが兼務しているようです。）しかし大きな神社らしくキレイに掃除されており、木々の若葉の緑に囲まれて堂々とした風格を表していました。桐生の神社と言えば関東五大天神の桐生天満宮が有名ですが、こちらの神社の趣もなかなかのものです。11月と言わず、商いをなさっている方には特に、桐生観光の際には参拝をオススメします。
なお、この神社に駐車場はありません。レンタサイクルやタクシーなどを利用するか、散策がてら徒歩での訪問が良いでしょう。

桐生にある神社のひとつで、地域の方々に信仰されているようです。観光地とまでは言えず、わざわざ行く価値はないかと思います。

毎年11月には大祭の、えびす講が開催され屋台の店が立ち並び大勢の人で賑わいます。徒歩でここを抜けると桐ヶ丘動物園にでれます。

明治時代の桐生は織物産業を中心に産業が盛んだったため、更に桐生の産業が繁栄するように願うため、商いの神を祭った兵庫県西宮市にあるえびす宮総本社西宮神社の直系分社として明治３４年（１９０１年）に造られました。毎年１１月１８日と１９日にえびす講が開かれ、大勢の参拝客が訪れます。

兵庫県西宮の西宮神社の分社、美和神社の敷地内にあります。小正月も過ぎていたためか、お参りの姿もなく、ひっそりしていました。

毎年１１月には盛大なえびす講が開催されます。名前が示す通り、こちらは兵庫県西宮市のえびす宮総本社西宮本社の直系分社された神社だそうです。桐生駅からは徒歩１５分くらい、西桐生駅からは１０分くらいです。

上毛電気鉄道西桐生駅より徒歩で約１０分くらい歩いたところにあります。割と小さな神社のほうでした。ちょっとした街はずれのほうにこのような神社がございました。
