We spent about one hour at Tojinbo. We went there during weekday and was not crowded. The coastal cliff was amazing but if driving all the way for 2.5 hours from Lake Biwa to Tojinbo, the trip may not be worthwhile.

As part of our tour we stopped there. Apart a grand view over the sea of Japan and, yes with interesting escarpments on the coast I did not really see anything I would have called cliff. I'm not sure what I expected, perhaps my bad...More

This is a world wonder and I am surprised that the tour buses have not found their way here. This place is probably Japan’s best kept secret for the locals to enjoy and not open to too much foreign tourists. If you get a chance,...More

It’s so beautiful here, the ocean is magnificent, you can’t get an ugly photo shot here. Every angle is stunning!! The breeze is cooling but not strong so it’s lovely to walk and explore.

We came here for something else. Echizen Gani. But the venue is very famous among tourist. It had its charm. I would honestly not detour for the venue alone. We did the boat ride which is all in Japanese and plenty of pictures. The walk...More
