Such a great to see the country side of Japan. Obama is a closest ocean town from Kyoto. Japan sea has lots of great fish, so you can buy lots of great fish at this fish market, or just eat lots of super fresh seafood!

Got here around liunch time and were glad we did. At first we were attracted by the restaurant upstairs, but it was full, people were waiting, and were still being called by group number when we passed again three hours later. Glad we gave up...More

Was expecting a much bigger fish market after being to the fish markets in Scotland. The local fish market on the opposite side of the road was more interesting.

At the Tore-tore sushi shop on 1F inside the Fisherman's wharf. Good-priced sushi made with locally caught fish. Sit down and enjoy free miso soup.
