What a great place, lovely woodland, mostly a great beach, pity it's so accessible! Went mid week in August on a lovely sunny day arriving about 11. Long queues to get in car park as it was very busy but went down quite quickly thanks to helpful staff. Plenty of parking and some good entertainment watching the lazy BMW driver... More

Thought this beach was lovely on the whole. Positives: Lots of sand for my boys to play in, small pools in the sand for paddling and the sea was lovely to paddle/swim in. Couldn't believe how warm it was! Very large beach, so it didn't feel too busy. Negatives: Access is over a quite steep sand dune, which my 2... More

Lovely stretch of beach and well maintained by council and national trust. Well used by locals . Great for walking your dogs. And wheel chair accessible by a wooden Boardwalk .

Toilets need to be nearer to the beach as it's quite a walk especially with children. Tell beach once we got on it was full of rubble and broken bricks. Very disappointing.

There are a few bad points in the fact that the toilets are at the top of the hill and I think it would benefit from some more at the bottom car park. The toilets need regular cleaning as there was toilet roll all over the floor and dirty seats when we went. Also there isn't anywhere to eat so... More

Went to this beach today. Was very disappointed due to a large land slide that has covered the beach I bricks and concrete. The whole site needs a good clear up. Also the amount of rubbish left on the beach is terrible. Won't be returning for a long while.

We went yesterday with my mother and my 6 and 3 year old boys... After waiting 45 minutes to get into the car park, we finally got in. Once you get to the car park, which I think is way to small for national trust, if you need the toilet you have to walk back to the entrance to the... More
