Nice walk around woodlands and on the beach. Seeing squirrels can be hit and miss. Parking is a tad expensive and gets very busy and some people park without consideration for other car users. In our opinion Sunday is not a good day to visit...More

Family trip to the squirrel reserve, must have only been about 200m in to our walk when we spotted our first squirrel. The little man was made up. Handy bathroom just as you go in/out of the reserve.

The work being done here is admirable in itself but simply as a walk it is worthwhile, while offering the chance for unique views of local wildlife at specific feeding spots to help.

A hot sunny day welcome shade beneath the beautiful trees. A very tranquil place beautiful. Walked through the trees to the beach amazing contrasts green and gold. Today the weather was hot even the sea temperature was warm not many benches take a picnic rug.

A reserve managed by the National Trust. Car park charges apply. A great place to visit to get up close to red squirrels. Covers an extensive area with varied flora and habitat.
