Amazing place! I saw a FB post regarding Coquito. I just went to buy Coquito and stayed for approximately 3 hours. The property is beautiful, the ambience WOW! Now the drinks 10/10!! Antonio made recommendations and I must say everything was great! You must visit Ron del Barrilito ask for Antonio! I am planning my next visit!!

From the moment we set foot in the historic Ron del Barrilito facility, it was clear we were in for a treat. Our guide, Timmy, was not only a fountain of knowledge about the rich history of this iconic rum distillery but also brought a level of enthusiasm and charisma that made every moment of the tour captivating. The tour itself was a perfect blend of history, culture, and the art of rum making. We were taken on a journey through time, learning about the origins of Ron del Barrilito and how it has evolved into a symbol of Puerto Rican pride. The highlight was undoubtedly the visit to the aging barrels, where the air was rich with the aroma of aging rum - it was like stepping into a different era! But it wasn’t just about observing; the interactive aspect of this tour truly set it apart. The mixology class was a delightful and educational experience. Under Timmy’s expert guidance, we learned how to craft classic rum cocktails with a Puerto Rican twist. It was hands-on, fun, and, needless to say, delicious! Each of us left with not only a deeper appreciation for rum but also the skills to impress at our next cocktail party. What made the tour extraordinary was Timmy’s ability to weave stories and facts into an engaging narrative, keeping us entertained and informed throughout. His passion for Ron del Barrilito’s legacy and his warmth in sharing it with us were truly incredible.

have done other rum factory tours in other countries and this was at the top! We arrived at the beautiful property on the wrong day by mistake an hour late. The manager was extremely pleasant and allowed is to change tour days so we didn't have to come back. The welcome drink was incredible, the property was gorgeous. Our tour guide was extremely nice and informative. There were a few people in the group who were a bit disruptive and the staff subtly directed them away from the group without further disturbance. The stories and explanations were incredible and I can't articulate how pleased we were with the attention to detail and customer service. I strongly recommend this tour.

I did the tour and tasting. I enjoyed learning about the history of a local premium rum and the tasing was very informative. The main house recently opened up for tours, but only a couple rooms. They are doing renovations on the rest of the house and will tour more of the house eventually. I would definatly come back! Great for anyone interested in learning about a local brand and is a rum drinker.
