歴史ある住居と日本庭園

休日を利用して、尾西歴史資料館の別館を訪問しました。もと脇本本陣跡に建てられた旧林邸と言う住居です。外から見ても歴史を感じる住居でしたが、中の住居部には現代アート？が飾らせていて今ひとつ理解が出来ず、
少々残念な気がしました。御庭は素晴らしく
紅葉が色づき始めていました。

脇本陣だからこそいい

本陣は全国各地で見かけますが、脇本陣は少ないかと。基本的には身分の差や先に本陣を押さえられなかった藩などが使ったようです。そうやって見ると建物の構造（復元）、庭などに家主のプライドや格式を感じます。庭の石の種類の多さにも驚きです。カネに糸目を付けずに造園したんだろうなあと想像出来ます。駐車場、見学とも無料ですが、入り口付近に申し訳程度の寄付金箱があります。

人も少ないので穴場観光地かもな
古民家と小さな博物館があります。
昔に像が一宮にも来てたのが面白かったです
古民家は秋とかいい雰囲気かもね

30年の6月1日から1年間、耐震補強工事のため休館になると聞いて、その前に訪問しました。江戸の雰囲気を残す明治の建物。補強工事が終わったらまた訪れたいです。

美濃路起宿の脇本陣跡に建つ旧家で、お庭が素敵です。入館無料。立派な苔の緑や秋には紅葉の赤がきれいなお庭で、お庭だけでも気軽に見学できます。

広く立派な建屋と苔むした庭園

ここは旧林家住宅となってます。落ち着きのある広く立派な建物に美しい庭園が備わっていて見ごたえがあります。水琴窟がありますが、何故か何も聞こえてきませんでした。

ここの博物館は入場料無料です。
博物館には宿場町として発展した歴史が展示されています。
そしてこの博物館の隣にある家屋はとても手入れが行き届いております。

庭園と畳の部屋が素晴らしい

美濃路の本陣跡の向かいにある脇本陣の場所にある江戸時代の町屋です。広い庭園は綺麗に整備されています。歴史民俗資料館もいいけど無料だから立ち寄るといいですよ。

脇本陣跡地に建てられた江戸の町屋

日曜午後、見学者が先に1組出てきました。残暑厳しい日中、玄関を入るとちょっと涼しく感じました。靴を脱いで土間からみせへ。奥はみせ座敷で格子越しに外が見えます。主屋、奥座敷といくつもの部屋があり、隠れた階段、ただ2階へは行けませんでした。昔のガラス戸をスタッフの方が磨いていて、歪んで見えるのですがピカピカ。展示物は特になく、昔、屋根に取り付けられていた飾り瓦の翁と嫗、焼け残った大黒様くらいです。どれもいい表情をしていて、屋根にこんな大きさの瓦がのっていたのかと感心。苔の生えた庭も歩けます。池に水がはっていたらもっと素敵だったかも。

無料で公開されていますが、一見の価値あり。昔を思い出させる畳敷きで、梁が低い造作。庭も見事であり、水琴窟もあります。
