Currently a nature reserve in title only

Development of tourism this side of the Estuary is scant. Roads are pretty rough and not well marked. The map markers for the National Nature Reserve may refer to possible gated areas. The area furtherest south is a breakwater amid the marshes but the number of trucks using the narrow dirt road make it impossible to park or walk or bike, and the amount of trash at the marsh edge takes some of the pleasure out of watching for sea birds.
