Best Part of My Trip to Yingkou
Aug 2018
Definitely the highlight of my recent trip to China! I had been looking for any amount of "traditional" Chinese culture I could get. After a week there I finally found it here. The temple was gorgeous! Everything inside was beautiful and ornate and so reverent. Next door, the park was a blast to walk around to. I went on a Saturday morning and there was lots of people performing. I spent a few hours here walking around and definitely got what I was looking for. Make this a for sure if you are in Yingkou.

Lengyan City Park

Nice fir a couple of hours day or night, close to the older parts of Yingkou which most locals prefer. Avoid the winter, a bit cold.

My favorite part of the city.
Mar 2016 • Solo
This was one of my favorite spots to visit when i was living in Yingkou. My best advice would be to visit early if you are here on a short trip. The park really lights up around this time and you will see elders and "aunties" doing everything from traditional Chinese dance to practicing Kung Fu. There is actually a teacher who is willing to teach foreigners Kung Fu for free but his English is limited and you will have to speak a little Chinese. It's a very peaceful place that you should come to to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The temple has it's own fair during spring, you will be able to find all types of dishes and items for sale at this time. All in all this needs to be on your list if it isn't already.

Lovely Winter Experience
Feb 2015 • Solo
I enjoyed the park so much, I visited twice. It is located a short distance from my hotel, at the centre of Yingkou city.

Lovely buildings, lake and walking paths that leads you to the other side of town. Many eateries just outside the park.
