Benxi isn’t on the itinerary of Western tourists, being far from the populous beaten tracks of Shanghai, Xi’an and other tourist meccas in China. Rather, it’s a place that many internal tourists flock to for the city’s famous water caves. But if you venture beyond this focal attraction that’s plenty else around to delight in Benxi. We visited a local village, saw the lake and park of course and generally enjoyed the tranquility and the pristine beauty of its surrounding nature, a far cry from the big city bus hustle and bustle of the major metropolis.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful parks I've been to! Very calm and wide, there are aromatic willow trees and lili flowers around. So good
