The main Dongying attraction is Yellow River Estuary and I recommend it for any visitor or resident of this city. For me it's a place where I can relax and admire the colors of leaves during fall or spring, the different birds and the meeting between the river and the sea.

I have been traveling all the time, and I love the scenery of China. I am enamored with the magnificence of the Great Wall and the profoundness of the Forbidden City. And this time Icame to Dongying, a young and unique city that located at the Yellow River Estuary. I had heard of the Yellow River when I was in my country, and it became a singularly attractive place to me. This brief tour left me a deep impression, which I shall never forget------ The Eco-tourism region of the Yellow River Delta, which has the youngest, most complete and most typical wetlands ecosystem and embraced abundance of attractions, located in the Yellow River Delta National Nature Reserve. The Yellow River, the mother river of Chinese, enters the sea from here, forming wonderful natural scenery of the confluence of rivers and seas. It is amazing where the rivers meet the sea!It sets a clear boundary between the Yellow River and the East China Sea at the estuary, and yellow and blue blend harmoniously.Thisis a pleasantly surprised I have never seen in my previous journeys, and make me realize that the Yellow River turned out to be a beautiful chocolate color. It’s romantic that flowers of reed fluttering, when a soft breeze blew. Cause the eco-tourism region is pure and natural, trivial things faded from you when you were there. It’s fabulous that “red carpet” cover the bank of river. Lush suaeda blanket the wetlands of the Yellow River estuary. This is also a masterpiece of naturethat I have ever seen for the first time, which made me excited. The food here is so delicious, especially the Chinese mitten crabs. I love Chinese cuisine, and these tasty Chinese mitten crabs conquered me again. Still missing it when I came back. I came, I experienced and I astonished, I felt my heart melted when it came into sight. By the way, there are several things to note. First, the official name of the Yellow River Estuary is “Eco-tourism region of Yellow River Delta”, otherwise you may get into a wrong destination. Second, for the area is so large, you need to take the bus, which only runs in scenic area, to visit each attraction. Entering”Eco-tourism region of Yellow River Delta”, and you will see a truly breathtaking scenery. As the bus wheel along the road to the Yellow River, you will watch the large reeds on both sides swaying with the wind. The endless and fertile the Yellow River Delta and the magical, beautiful and charming Yellow River estuary, bred life and beauties. I have been deeply impressed by the wildness, the far-reaching and the freedom here. There are also cute red-crowned cranes, white swan and other birds running freely, flying and inhabiting, a paradise for birds. The Yellow River runs into the sea while the wetland stands beautifully, these authentically free my body and soul.

This wetland has been greatly improved since my first visit in 2007, but is still a work in progress. As a resident of Dongying city, I can attest to the lack of green spaces around the city (although that is also improving), so a visit to the mouth of the Yellow River is a welcome breath of fresh air. (no pun intended) It's a typical wetland with the addition of boardwalks, viewing towers, a visitor centre and boat cruises out to the Bohai Sea.

they have gone to a lot of trouble and expense establishing a ecologically sensitive tour site close to the mouth of the Yellow River. The river itself is very fast flowing and awsome
