Nice lake to south of Hengshui city. originally set up for water storage for irrigation an transportation (canals) it is now a national Nature reserve of important to resident and local bird species including the rare Baer's Pochard. Popular with locals for visiting the park on the lakeshore, fishing and taking boat trips across the lakes and to the lotus gardens.

Standing by the lake, I felt the breeze coming from its water space so vast that it were like the Lake Michigan by the Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. The ducks on the water told us that the water quality was good. The locals are very much privileged for having such a large water surface, the blue sky resulting from it, and the rich resource for irrigation.
