展覽館座落在三門峽景區裡面的一棟建築，共有兩層，比較破舊很多圖片都退了色，不過還是可以很詳盡的了解三門峽的建設史和歷史發展，它是黃河中上游第一座大壩，同時也因為本身選址和黃河泥沙問題導致了上游支流渭河成為地上懸河良田變鹽鹼，所以從20多年前就基本處於半運轉狀態並在壩底修了很多卸沙孔緩解上游泥沙。看來這種改變自然的工程還是應該慎重，像三門峽現在就很尷尬。
