An absolute must to see in Hezhou! If you want to escape from the roaring city - this is the place to explore. Well organized, clean, easy to hike and family-friendly! But please - take your time - don’t just rush in and out - it’s worthwhile!

An absolute must to see in Hezhou! If you want to escape from the roaring city - this is the place to explore. Well organized, clean, easy to hike and family-friendly!

We arrived late in the afternoon so didn’t have time to visit all the spots at this location. There is an official buggy transport from the entrance that stops at all the main areas although it is possible to walk if one prefers. The air is quite refreshing although it is uphill much of the way. Many small streams and stone bridges abound and a waterfall or two as well. Additionally, a small tea plantation and a winery which was featured in a television serial if I am not wrong, all providing nice photo opportunities. Unfortunately, some of this tranquility is spoilt by continuously loud commentaries over the PA and even a huge electronic display screen which contrasts badly with the surroundings. It’s not anything spectacular but if you have a few hours, it’s a lovely area to walk around, enjoy the fresh air and natural surroundings.

It was the Mid-Autumn Festival of 2015. The spots are well-connected by environmentally friendly electrical vehicles. So even young children and the elderly find it more manageable. The waterfall can't be compared with that in Guizhou but still amazes and cools the visitors. The wine and tea they served are quite good and are available for purchase. The air is fresh and weather of this season is good for visit.
