Aung has been the perfect guide. We spent 3D and 2N hiking from kalaw to pindaya, first night in a monastery and second night in a village. Landscapes were amazing, the whole trek is worth the price and the trip (about 55000 kyat each, in a 5 pax group). Aung is an interesting person and is very friendly, it was easy to make "the group" with other 3 French guys. The food was perfect, Aung is also a talented chef. Thanks Aung, take care and keep being the best kalaw guide

EN: We did a 3 day trek with Pole Star Travel from Kalaw to Inle. If you have time you should do it. And not going straight forward to Inle. It is really interesting to walk around peaceful villages, sorrounded by pines, chilli fields, banana and papaya threes.

Our guide Phyoe was really good he speaks really good English and was always willing to answer our questions or help. I highly recommend him.

We did the 3 days trek from Kalaw to Pindaya. Polestar is a good agency and our guide Vino was excellent. He is a young but very professional guide, who loves to joke around and gives you plenty of good informations during trekking. We highly recommend Polestar and their guide Vino.
Thank you Vino for this amazing experience:)

We went on a 3-day trip for Christmas with Aung.
We had been so lucky to discover this part of the country with such a wonderful guide! We had so many interesting conversations, sharing our experiences and having fun all together!
We walked from Kalaw to Pindaya, crossing villages, enjoying the beautiful landscapes, meeting very friendly people and eating the delicious food Aung made for us! We slept in a monastery on the first night, which was really nice, and we slept in a tent on the second night, at the top of a hill, sharing a barbecue and listening to a guitar player and Myanmar songs.
We will remember this trip for a long time, thanks a lot Aung!

My girlfriend and I hiked to Pindaya with Vino, doing a 3 day, 2 night trek. Vino was our guide, and the experience was fantastic. The meals arranged were terrific and more than enough food. We stayed the first night in a monastery with a beautiful view and the second night with a family, both accommodations were clean and the hosts welcoming. Overall a great value and experience!

I did the 2 days and 1 night trek from Kalaw to Pindaya and it is absolutely amazing. I really wanted to do this one instead of the popular Kalaw/Inle trek and I don't regret my choice. The landscapes and villages we saw were just amazing. Many agencies don't provide that trek because their guides are not familiar with the area, and after I contacted several ones, only a few were able to give me information about it. I decided to chose Polestar Travel after I contacted the owner, Yarzar, on facebook. He was proud to recommend that trek and was responding quickly to all me questions to help me prepare it ahead. We settled everything before I arrived in Kalaw. My first plan was 3 days and 2 nights but I decided to make it shorter last minute because of the weather forecast. 2D1N was still great but if you can make it 3D2N you should go for it. You will just be amazed everywhere you pass by. My guide, Aung Aung, was very friendly and very familiar with the area and the different villages we passed by. His English was good enough to have conversation, and he was the one who prepared me nice meals. I had a lunch in a monastery and one night in the house of a local family in a village, that was so good, a very nice moment. It's actually more a 1day1/2 trek as we arrived in Pindaya in the end of the morning to visit the famous caves to finish the Trek. This Kalaw to Pindaya trek is one of the highlights of my trip to Myanmar. Thank you Polestar Travel team for your kindness and professionalism.

Unforgettable is the word I can use for our tour. We did the 3 day and 2 night trekking from Kalaw to Inle Lake with Sai, the best guide we have ever met. Very kind, funny, lovely. He knows everything about the country, and taught us a lot. It was extremely enriching and rewarding, and great to spend these days with him. We are so lucky to know him! The nights in the homestay were very nice, and the food, hm, delicious! Very rich breakfast, lunch and dinner! I already miss Sai and his avocado salad every day! We highly recommend the tour, it was amazing!
