I have done two tours with this company, one to Danakil for three days and one to the Omo Valley for 5 days. I loved the experience. I will repeat without a doubt. They have been very professional taking care of everything, even the domestic flights. Everything indicated in the itinerary has been complied with. Good cars, guides and drivers. Highly recommended!

This was awesome. We booked this through the hotel, but were paired with this tour company. It worked out very well. Melese and everyone else were very friendly and professional. Overall the food, the price, the porters, guide, and everyone were just incredible. It's definitely a worthwhile trip to the Simien mountains and the whole crew from this company are local to the Simien mountains. We did the 2 day trip and had an awesome time. We highly recommend it.

I booked the Simien Mountains Tour and Bahir Dar with Melese. Melese made the booking process as smooth as possible. He went above and beyond, helping me book flights and looking for ways to make the trip as affordable for me as possible, without sacrificing quality. He checked in with me regularly across the weekend and as a solo female traveller, I felt safe and well cared for. Melese has an amazing team of staff to take care of you. Their hospitality was amazing but more valuable was getting to know them. I cannot recommend a trip to Simien / Bahir Dar or anywhere else in Ethiopia enough when it is organised by Melese. He is a kind, generous and honest person.

Just got back from a 3 day 2 night trek to the Simien mountains with this company. It was an excellent all round experience, my guide was really knowledgable and friendly, the chefs cooked delicious food/snacks and the driver and security were also really nice. Camp was basic but covered all your needs. I felt in good hands with the guys and well looked after throughout!
I have no complaints at all, the views were spectacular, the guide and security were both great at spotting animals, we saw the Gelada monkeys, Abyssinian fox, Walia Ibex and many birds. They also have detailed knowledge of the local plant life and geology- all very impressive.
You cover a lot of the key sights of the Simien Mountains national park in the 3 days you has, Melassa’s programme is perfect and he is great in communicating in advance of the trip.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and I hope to come back with family in future ! Big thank you to Hope, Haftu, Alex, Mutoku, Getachew and Melese!

Just amazing and perfect from first till last second. Melese and his staff are so extremly friendly and professional at same time. The planning was on point. Some words about his staff: the walking guide was incredible good and like everybody of the staff, they took care precisely of my needs. The food tje cook prepared in the mountains was better than most of the food in the restaurants i had the 2 weeks before. The scout was present but always in the backround so i totally felt safe all the time. If anybody is planning to do the trekking in simien, Melese and his staff and the peopöe to do with, worth every cent. And by the way his accomodation backpackers in gondar is the perfect point to stay in gondar and start/plan the simien. Many many thanks to Melese for this unique experience, i highly recommend.

Melese provided an excellent tour guide and trip planning service! Highly recommend! Melese communicated quickly and clearly, was punctual, and has a skilled and friendly team from local guides, to drivers, and more. His vehicles were clean, comfortable, new, and well equipped for the rugged terrain. We enjoyed our day trip to the Simien Mountains so much that we planned another last minute trip to Gorgora to visit the northern part of Lake Tana. Melese was able to plan this trip with leas than an hour notice! We will definitely call Melese next time when we return to do a multi day trek through the Simiens.

Melesse is the young owner of both Simien Mountains Outstanding Nature Tours and Gondar Backpackers. He's from Simien mountains himself and knows the land like the back of his hand. He was super responsive to our requests. We were in Gondar for Timkat/Ethiopian Epiphany and took a one-day trekking trip with him that was extremely well organized and enjoyable. The van was very new and in excellent condition. The driver was very careful and we were lucky to have Melesse himself as guide as we hiked to the waterfall. We ended up staying for 10 days at Gondar Backpackers which is a big, comfy house on a small hill with a superb view of the city and yet five minutes from a busy street with plenty of restaurants. Melesse is truly one of the nicest guys we met in our 2-month stay in beautiful Ethiopia. He's friendly, honest, and does everything to accommodate to his clients' travel needs. We highly recommend him!

This was such a brilliant three days in the mountains. I am a so traveller and got linked with a lovely group. We were taken care of from start of finish. The treks had amazing views and our guide let us take it at our own pace. When we finished we arrived at a beautiful campsite with tea and coffee and the tents set up. The food was delicious, two courses or warm food and wine around the campfire. Everything served on time. I would recommend dropping them a line if you're looking for a tour, lots of very expensive tours and this was at a reasonable price.

This tour is INCREDIBLE.
It's perfectly organized, people and guides are very prepared and everything is made to make you feel good and peaceful.
The Simien Mountains is a paradise.
Fresh and clean air, diversity of nature, different kinds of animals, but most importantly...
trekking is very good for your health and well-being.
Your guide will stop regularly to take amazing pictures and embrace the landscape + is always ready to answer any questions and feed your curiosity.
You can sleep comfortably in tent or community lodge. Food is tasty and cooked with love, served at the right time.
Transportation is efficient and they work together as a real team.
Honestly it's one of the best experience I have ever had becuase you start with an idea maybe, but you end up having inside benefits for your spirit.
I recommend 3 days option, with 2 nights.
