Went to the Christmas light trail with family (3 generations). The projectors that lit the house were fine but seemed much less than previous years. On the 'so called' trail, the paths were in darkness and only illuminated at times by shining a coloured light up a tree or a group of trees. Around the back of the house, there was only the tunnel and when a family member asked a member of staff about the lack of lights, the response was along the lines of a power shortage! If you DON'T have lights or the wherewithall to power them, you cannot call it LIGHT show. As the price had increased by 50% on last year, I would have expected to see at least 50 % MORE lights, not LESS. It was most disappointing and will NOT be recommended or likely to be attended another time.

Fantastic little park. Dog friendly, protected children’s play area. Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Best part is the café.” Savoir faire”. Can’t do enough to help you. One of our favourite venues.

What a great little space close to Bicester town centre. Nice for walking the dog. Paths are ideal for wheelchairs & prams. Plenty of benches around to sit on. We visited on a sunny day so took advantage of the water features within the playground area(little roosters that spout water!!) Nice variety of equipment, including swings for younger children, basket swing, huge see-saw, zip wire & great hills with tunnels that the kids can crawl through. Lovely pavillion & wishing well in one of the gardens. There is an area for skateboarding too. Cafe on site is absolutely worth a visit. Pots of tea with a sandwich or fresh scones in the little cafe with a view over the gardens comes highly recommended.

I live in Bicester and like to walk around this small garden park. Large established trees and flowering boarders to see. Its nice to go to on a sunny day and either take a picnic or visit the café where you can sit inside or outside. There is a new children play area opened. There are a few events on during the summer which the Town Council organise. Occasionally there a band playing on the bandstand.

Used this as a mid way point to meet friends. Two families with 4 kids between 13 and 8. Plenty of space for the kids to play football, nice cafe for ice creams, coffee etc. Good play area. We had the added bonus of a Porsche owners club meeting and live music. Cheap parking a short walk away. Very pleasant space, nice and clean. Permanent toilets 20p a go, but temporary toilets were available for free. Will use again for this purpose.

we always wanted an outdoors wedding, so we booked one under the bandstand here. Easily done via telephone to the registry office, wont know until the day if we are getting wed outside as it is weather dependant. However the room inside looks comfty enough and theres still plenty of nice pics to be had as the gardens are beautiful. Watch out for the resident squirrel xx

Garth Park is the home of the local council offices. It is a public park with a play area for kids and a bike/skateboard area. In the summer the gardens are very pretty. Large grass areas are well maintained by council staff.

Garth. Park's beautiful landscaped gardens are a joy to behold. There is.a well equipped play area and a skateboard park for teenagers. For more senior people there are well placed seats and some summer Sundays there are band concerts.
All this a short stroll from the town centre.
