This was a very cool interactive zoo. I have never been so close to the animals and hand feed most of them. We paid a little more and was able to hold tiger cubs 🥰. This is an experience we will never forget.

Too naïve and with too little research we went on a daytrip to the zoo. Soon we realised that the animals don't get the treatment and surely not the space they need. It was very sad to see the animals. I'm sure the staff is trying their best, but the fact is that they clearly don't have the resources and facilities to maintain all these animals. Most of them looked depressed und underfed. Do NOT play with the cubs, this is NOT good for them. They claim they are helping the animals through a conservation program, but seeing the circumstances the animals are in, I doubt this is true. If you are an animal lover, please put the animal first, and don't visit this place.

This was one of the best experience I've ever had. We took our 8 year old twin grandsons to the zoo. It was almost deserted like it was our own personal zoo. Got to feed and pet the giraffe, monkeys, bear, baboon, birds, goats and more. We stood right next to the giraffe. No fence. Clean healthy animals. At the end we paid for an opportunity to hold a baby jaguar, baby black jaguar, white tiger, red tiger, and a barbary lion cub (they are extinct in the wild. My family was thrilled with the untouristy feel of this fun zoo.

My first time in Mexico and hubby surprised me by going to Puerto Vallarta Zoo . I have never been to a zoo before and Actually cried . Omg , I cried a few times . These animals are kept in cages so very small , dirty , inhumane , and Have growths, cuts , bites, don’t look healthy at all , animals all look depressed , sad , and starving! You can buy bags to feed them and I must of bought like 10 because I felt horrible even the bunnies were starving . The hippo has its mouth wide open the entire time as he is so hungry . Cause let’s be real when do you ever see hippos like this . Not normal and not ok. The giraffe you can feed but it is so scared that you can’t pet it . Looks really sad . Got massive bug bites All down my legs that took over 3 months to heal . Please don’t support this place ! I read that this zoo was better and helping the animals and it was completely untrue. These animals are being neglected . Broke my heart . Every single animal is starving and begging for food , the wolves , monkeys, ducks. Bunnies , goats, I mean all of them . This is not ok and the other reviews stating this is good and they had a great time leaves me extremely disappointed . I really hope someone can get the help these animals need and deserve because this place is definitely not it . I have been to many zoos and not till here have I ever witnessed anything this disturbing . 😢😢😢
