I was quite excited when I learned there was a zoo in Puerto Vallarta. I am quite disappointed in this zoo. It is definitely not on the level of a North American zoo. The pens are quite small and there is no effort made to...More

If you believe that the world is here for the full enjoyment of humans and at the expense of all else, you will probably enjoy it. I’m no bleeding heart liberal, but it is obvious to me that this place is not nice and a...More

You will just end up feeling sorry for the animals. They force breed tigers to have a cubs, what do they do with all the cubs when they grow? Inhumane.

This is our second visit and we enjoyed as much as our first time. Our 3 year old grandson loved being able to touch some of the animals and chase the ducks!! There is a special event you can book that allows you to hold...More

This was amazing! The regular pass to the zoo works out to about $20 CAD for a couple; but if you get the package $170 for a couple this comes with 2 bottled drinks each, a souvenir of your choice in the gift shop, and...More

I went here expecting to be able to pet the zoo animals; have monkeys climb on me or a snake wrap around my head or pet baby tigers like advertised on their website, but none of this was possible. All animals, with a few exceptions,...More

We first visited this zoo 2 years ago, and then again last week. We had a great time both visits. This is not your typical zoo! There are animals there that I have never seen in a zoo. Their habitats aren't necessarily the best, and...More

Had a great visit to the PV zoo today- ending with a one-on-one visit with a panther and jaguar - each a baby. While this latter experience was costly it meant the world to my daughter

Cute animals, kind employees, fun experience. Holding baby animals is fun, and feeding the bunnies is really exciting. Lots of hostile ducks and a couple geese, but luckily they don’t follow you far. The animals are gentle and clearly well-fed. Overall fun experience.

You will get off the bus at Mismaloya and cross the street. From there you will walk the dirt road to what seems like you are going to no where (it's not very far, though). The tequila places along the way are nice to... More
