Whilst in the Abruzzo region we found that the only things open with any consistency were the churches so found these were the buildings we often visited during our stay. This church is equally stunning inside and out and well worth popping into even if just for 10-minutes like we did

Lanciano has so much to offer. The city center is old and beautiful. Try to get the tour below the old city. It's amazing.

My dorm was right across from this church. The inside is just as beautiful as the outside. There are usually cats sunbathing on the steps to it.

A big church riched of history. There are beautiful paints. You must visit it! IT is in the centre of Lanciano.

Aggiornamento per la visita. Si può prenotare al parroco che vi indirizzerà al custode, che aprirà la porta, nonostante le impalcature. Qui 0872 220501

Attenzione, la chiesa da qualche mese è chiusa per restauri importanti. Ne avremo sino al 2021! Tuttavia si possono ammirare le opere interne nel Museo diocesano civico, in Largo dell'appello, tra queste ovviamente il bellissimo Crocifisso quattrocentesco di Nicola Gallucci di Guardiagrele
