Had the place to ourselves in May, with great opportunities to use our imaginations. We parked at free lot north of castle and walked up to entrance. Not much room for visitor cars above lot. Spiral staircase to top is a bit steep and narrow....More

Call to the gift shop at the base of the castle. The lady will open the gate and you are free to walk around the castle yourself. The views from the castle of Olvera are truly amazing.

There is not all that much of the castle left and it is a steep climb up to the ruins on the crag above the town. An even steeper climb up to the topmost part of the castle tower itself. It is worth it though...More

The view from the castle is extraordinary. We had a warm and sunny morning in February and it was so beautiful!

The Arab Catle is nice but it takes a while to go up, expecially if it's hot. You have a good view of the Pueblo Blanco of Olvera from he Castle.
