we did 1day tour with Jamal in Amizmiz for joining tue market. jamal seem know everyone at this area and quite nice with good English. he is knowledgeable and kind and patience. although market is smaller than my expectation(since no rain quite long time, less berber come to market recently) but i still see some diff stuff with Taroudannt or other place local market. tea time in market also enjoyable, everyone is nice at this area. after market visit, we start the trekking to sidi hssaine, which is berber village, although the local don't like photo taking but the scenery is quite beautiful. getting many colorful mountain view and lunch at berber house. we back to amizmiz on time. quite enjoyable tour. worth to join.

Really please we booked this trip as we had a fantastic time. Jamal could not have been a better guide - very friendly and informative. The two day trip took us through the Berber villages in the footbhills of the Atlas mountains and the scenery, accomodation and food were excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

This was the highlight of our trip to Marrakech. Jamal’s knowledge of the area is exceptional and he seems to be known by all of the locals. It felt much more authentic than a typical guided tour and we had a relaxed and enjoyable day with some great company.

I can completely recommend this trip. Jamal (who speaks excellent English) was super helpful and friendly without being overbearing. All you need is to be walking fit and have some decent hiking boots and you are sorted! That and a sense of safe adventure, a desire to get off the beaten track, and an interest in getting to know true rural Moroccans. The pace was good, the food fantastic and the accommodation a good basic village home. The locals were very friendly. Its worth bringing little things like pencils etc for the children. Our thanks to Jamal, Mohammed (and his son Assiz), and Maria, the wonderful mule. We arrived in Amizmiz on the Tuesday to go to the weekly market (another must do!) ahead of meeting Jamal on the Wednesday. That worked well, staying at the Maroc Lodge. Alastair and Maggie
