What an absolute gem of a location. Lovely clean beach and very well protected from the wind. Good car parking and easily accessible by foot once you have parked up. We absolutely loved this place as soon as we arrived and it's just so peaceful and unspoilt. We could even picture ourselves moving here upon retirement.

Good clean beach great for those with a kite and for surfers. Small, narrow harbour that looked very rough in the wind. Car park was £2 for 1 hr though! Cafe and clean public toilets by it. Away from it, the area is quite residential and is largely a 1970s ish estate which looks out of place, but we like quaint Cornwall.

Our son 3 loved being on the beach, the sea was lovely the sand is nice, gets a bit stoney closer to the sea. Has little snack place and ice cream place close, although i would go to the place across the car park ,The Atlantic, rather than the Kelly's ice cream hut for ice cream as they are fabulous.

Not the wildest of Cornish beaches given a road and car parks sit right behind it; it does however make it easily accessible which is part of its pull. Behind the car park and beaches are a few nice places to eat and drink. The beach itself is a nice stretch of sandy/pebble and has some nice size waves due to the slope of the beach. Cliffs at either end and a craggy outcrop give the beach character.
