Very busy on Saturday morning 9am until 1pm. Excellent vegetable stall. Fresh garlic unusual plums bamboo shoots etc. Pies pastries breads. Everything so fresh. There is parking at Markets however there is plenty more on the main road. There is a florist chemist and delicatessen...More

Have driven on state highway 1 past the turnoff to Matakana for many years and decided to go and stay for 2 nights.....so glad we did. Nice boutique shops, great little 4 square for those forgotten necessities.Cool public toilets.
