Quiet , peaceful surroundings, beautiful nature, even if the sun was not there. Very close to the town. Absolutely worth the visit.

Cool water on a hot day
Jul 2019
It is a beautiful spot, a short walk from the main road in a smaal "canyon", a few small waterfalls and pools with very cool water, in beautiful surroundings, just 60 km's inland.
Although there is enough room for lots of people to enjoy the shade/sun and fresh water there are only very few parking spaces nearby, which makes it difficult to get there.

Skip Ontinyent and go to Bocairent, beautiful mediaeval city/village

A lovely spot that was being very well used by very mixed groups. Well worth a visit. There are no facilities on site that we found but there was a sign for a toilet, we just never found it but the water and people watching may have distracted us a little! Parking was very limited but it looked as if there were a few ways in but I can’t help say where they were or what the parking was like!

Paradise on earth
Jul 2019 • Family
We visited twice whilst hiring a villa with friends nearby. Pou Clar is an idyll, clear fresh water and natural pools full of fish, deep enough to dive into from heights. Wish I'd taken mask and snorkel. Best place I've ever visited!

Nice place to visit but NO FACILITIES and RESTRICTIONS on eating, drinking etc.
Jul 2019 • Family
We live opposite the Pou Clar and have first hand knowledge of the restrictions there in the summer, normally July thro to early September. The only food you can take is bocadillos, sandwiches, water is the only drink allowed and you cannot take freezer boxes or chairs, tables, loungers etc down there. The toilet facilities are minimal to say the least. They have security guards checking as you get there so no escape there. Car park gets extremely busy during these periods and people tend to park wherever they see fit, not necessarily right though. My view is visit early morning or late evening or put up with the crowds. On the other hand it is a lovely place to visit out of season.

Beautiful in Fall, Smaller than expected
Nov 2018 • Solo
I stopped at Pou Clar on a hike from Ontinyent to Bocairent in November 2018. It was really beautiful and very tranquil. The walk from the Aldi in Ontinyent to this area was easy and also very beautiful. The area of water itself is pretty small, though well maintained and again, gorgeous. There were no people when I went, so it was a great time to sit and listen to the water and watch the fish and ducks. The water itself was very cold, so I'd bet its very refreshing to swim in the summer. If you don't want to walk, there are stairs leading from a small parking lot off of the CV81 highway.

Cool off on a hot summers day!
Jun 2018 • Couples
When we found this place, it was hard to believe we were on the side of a very busy road! As it’s in a valley you are shielded from the sounds and distractions. Beautiful for a walk and a picnic! The water is really cold so be wary if you dive into it’s clear glassy depths,

Difficult to park the car and not allow to bring picnic
Jun 2018 • Couples
Not enough car park spaces in summer and if you bring picnic the only place where you can eat it is between two cars
Even the usual picnic wooden tables the police told us to put all our food inside the bags and leave, with all the kids hungry
Really upseting

This is a beautiful place for a visit. The only problem is that it is very popular during the Summer. Recommend it though.
