Hi
Recently visited this beach with family, it is really awesome. Few points if you are planning visit here.
Can visit as a day trip approx 3-4 hours from Mumbai.
Clean beach with lot of fun activities for every age group. Can indulge in jet boat, banana boat, speed boat, para sailing, horse cart, camel ride, 4x4 bike ride. Rates needs to be fixed specially between Monday to Friday as you can get much better deal. Visit to Kolaba fort during low tide is fun you can walk and enjoy the trip.
Beach is shallow hence safe for everyone. Good photo opportunities. You can eat variety of food veg as well as non veg in walking distance. All dishes are reasonably priced. Best thing I liked is free parking 24x7. If you stay over night hotels are pathetic dirty and very expensive hence if planning to book it in advance you may regrate. if not visiting on holidays like Sunday you can scout for good hotels and then book. While staying in Alibaug you can also combine visit to historic Murud & Jangira forts which are approx 50 km away. You can fix local auto if not travelling by your own vehicle will cost you approx 2 k for a day trip. Overall a good refresher from daily busy schedule to spend quality time with friends and family.

Had been to this black sand beach in Alibag a long back ago. It is a popular tourist attraction and is visited by tourists.

This beach is accessible by road from anywhere in Alibag. It has a platform where tourists can walk and view the sunset as well. This beach also offers a mind blowing view of the Kolaba Fort. Watersport activities as well as horse cart rides can be done here. It gets crowded during the weekends. Had enjoyed walking along the black sand and admired the beautiful sunset.

This beach is an ideal place for families, couples, adventure enthusiasts as well as friends. It is a must visit and should not be missed when in Alibag.

Alibag Beach was next explored from one end to the other. We tried our hands riding a motor cycle. The speed was carefully controlled by the driver. It was sheer fun and exciting to watch others also have a memorable time at the beach. The beach was not very crowded as everyone was expected to keep in mind the time of high tide and then venture out into the sea. There were adults and children of all ages groups who did not mind the sweltering heat and had a great time on the beach. We too sat for a while, walked a bit on the sand as water had receded owing to low tide, posed for the photos, selected locations for an eye catching photo, relished coconut water, blew bubbles with soap water and watched other have a gala time with family and friends.

Definitely a must recommended place to stay in Alibaug. Though its a big property its well maintained, every bit of it is maintained. The property is super clean. Beaches nearby are Kihim and Mandwa with Kihim taking all the points. A perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. The staff is courteous and decent. We travelled with 2 kids but they took care of us very well. Boiling kids bottle providing boiled milk for kids. Ajay was the person handling our kids request. Restaurant is awesome with courteous staff special mention for Sudhakar gogawle, Prakash Joshi, Vikas Mhatre. Overall a perfect place to rest and rejuvenate.

Good to check the tide times if you want to go into the water as in low tide the water is far off from the shore.
There are plenty of activities and water sports for adults and it’s calm enough for kids to play. High tide was at around 11am, we went down to play in the water from 9am. Weather was pleasant and water was quiet warm. Not a clear blue water but with our toddler we loved it.

It is a small beach but it's not as beautiful as one may expect. But it has some fun activities like ATV ride for rupees 100, Horse cart for 50, Camel ride for 100, horse ride etc. Snacks are available around the beach. You can get a horse cart to reach the Kolaba fort from here in the afternoon time. One can also choose to walk through the sea to reach the Kolaba fort for a specific period of time.

We visited this beach last week on the weekend. It was crowded but very clean. There are water sports like parasailing etc which are available on the beach. A lot of vendors are also available right outside the beach area. You can see a lovely sunset from the beach. There is a big Alibaug beach sign on the beach which is a good selfie point. Also camel ride, horse ride, quad bikes are all available for hire on the beach. For the crowd that was there I was surprised how clean the beach was but its a good thing that people are keeping the area clean. Worth a visti during your stay in Alibaug
