A ruined church with a ditch and bank around it - but the ditch inside the bank. A quiet spot to visit on a sunny day - or in the dusk if you've good nerves. Visible from the road. Parking is a bit tricky, but...More

Knowlton Church/Earthworks' got great ambiance even on days when ghosts fail to make a tourist pleasing appearance. It's historic, attractive and interesting, well worth a visit. OK now on with my major point. This was the second time in our extensive trip that a group...More

I love taking photos of this place but if you believe in ghosts then don't go here after dark.Seriously, the best time is day or night but especially sunset.

Worth a visit, good history, Allow half an hour unless going for a picnic watch out for mud in wet weather. Local pubs nearby.

This is a lovely piece of histroy. You will only need about 15 minutes here. Id say its worth going to if you are pasing by. The norman church ruins do look very good and are well looked after.

Its not unique but its rare to find such a complete example of faith stamping. Not much information on site and most definitely one for a dry visit. Parking is quite limited but free.

Not a large place by any means, but one you will love to visit especially in the late spring or early summer is the Knowlton church ruins built that sit on an ancient Iron Age fort site. Peaceful and quiet and just off the main...More
