Lovely little train station with a nice cafe. We took the train to New Mills Farm Park. One ticket lets you ride as many times as you like.

Excellent day out. Very welcoming clean and tidy if there was rubbish on the floor it got picked up straight away. Nothing was too much bother.

For those who enjoy the smaller steam railways, this is one many folk may have missed. But certainly worth a visit! Motive Power, ex Welsh slate quarries. A tad expensive (even at the discounted late afternoon trains), but still worth a visit!
