I rent very good kite equipment, latest design North kite. The spot is very beautiful all day, with a specific light in the morning giving blue green lagoon color to the water.
The kite expert Team (Julien, Geofffoy, Oleks,...) is energetic, super friendly,motivating, professional and putting safety as a principle.
The family can come and join the kiters for good fun swimming in the waves, trying surf or body board and getting lunch at nice sea view vietnamese restaurant nearby (Nam Chau).

Source is located on the Malibu Beach, north of Mui Ne. It is on an amazing sandy bay, 6/7km long, nicely curving with the red sand dunes in the background when you are off riding. The wind is excellent: I was able to ride almost every day for two weeks and to choose the right kite size for the daily conditions as advised by the team at Source (I used 5m, 6m, 7m and 8m). I felt Source had the best position, right in the middle of the bay with plenty of space to enter into the water and to navigate without having to worry about other kites. The team, lead by Julien, is very friendly and welcoming. They were always prepared to give good advice on the spot, valuable tips and help you with your kiting. Julien is also able to arrange and assist with anything you may need (for example pick-up and transfer to HCMC). I strongly recommend and look forward to come back.

I had a lot of fun in Mui Ne.
When you are renting a kite, you are expecting that something of good quality and this is what Source Kiteboarding offers (brand new North kite).
Their kites are kind of new and it gives you some confidence. This is definitely not the case in every place so it really worth the price.
Also, guys are amazing and super friendly and professional.
Many thanks for everything and I will definitely go back when I'll have some time off ;)

I took a 3 hour kiteboarding lesson with 2 of my friends while we were in town for a few days. We had julien brout as our instructor and he was great. None of us had any experience before this lesson and he was patient with us and explained everything in great detail. We also had a lot of fun while we were doing it and the 3 hours went by to fast! I would highly recommend taking a lesson or renting gear from him if you are in the area, if I was staying longer I would have been back for more:)

I took kite lessions for a week at Source Kiteboarding. The instructors are very professional and have great experience in teaching. Weather conditions were brilliant for the whole week and thanks to my instructor Alex I not only practiced a lot hands-on but also learned about theory and the gear. I can highly recommend the school for anyone. Jan

I was a complete beginner and took 8 hours of lessons. From the first moment I felt in good hands with Julien and his team of instructors. Malibu beach is a great and also difficult spot to learn kiting. But Morgan and Geo made sure I made loads of progress in the short time we had and always made me feel safe.

My son Rémi 12 and I had just had a great time with Julien's team Soureboadrding where we received a very good training to start.
Julien and his team are very welcoming and always available to help us.
We will return on January 29 for a second training.
Surfing is so cool and it gave us a lot of freshness.

Great kite school. Was recommended by a French friend in the UK and was definitely a good one. Booked a week of private classes and had a great experience with professional instructors.

I took a 3 hours course at Source Kitesurfing. I never done Kitesurfing before but the teacher Jo told me all about it and learned me how the control the kite. We went in the water together and had a lot of fun! They have a lot of good equipment and wel trained staff. There's a nice, friendly vibe! Communication with Julien and the lady at the shop was perfect. Thank you for the great experience!

I was not very keen in giving kitesurfing a go, I stood for long hours on the beach to watch kites flying all around.. Finally I went for it.. And, fell in love with it.. Brilliant instructions from very experienced instructors.. The atmosphere is great, I would highly recommend learning kitesurfing with these guys..

Hi, thanks for being in touch with us. The pick season with North East wind blowing from October to the end of March is morte consistant tan the southern wind that blows the rest of the year. May last year was a good month to kite in Mui Ne so fingers crossed it will be the same this year. We have a lodge with restaurant and bar so if you wish to stay with us lest us, drop us a ligne..
